My Hunt is Over

chapter four

I let go of his embrace and looked into his own green eyes. The green eyes that always sparkle every time I look at them.

"Come on, lets get out of here." Trevor spoke.

"I think that is a great idea." I replied.

Trevor stoop up on his two feet and held out his hand for me to take. I placed my palm in his own and ignored the tingly feeling.

I noticed his eyes roam to our hands and back up to my eyes.

Does he feel it too?

He gave my a heartwarming smile and led us to the door. We left the party without even a need to ask eachother if thats what we needed to do.

He opened the passanger door open and shut it when I was safely sat inside.

I texted Sadie and told her I went home with Trevor because some drama happened.

me: Trevor is taking me home. Some stuff went down. Dont be worried, I'm okay. I really dont want to talk about what happened because i'm still shooken up about it. I'm sorry we left, but I needed to leave.

Shortly after my phone vibrated in my pocket

Bestfriend :) : I hope your okay. Thats fine, Ill get a ride somehow. Are you ok? What happened? Do I need to kick someone's ass?

I smiled and giggled, this is why Sadie is my bestfriend.

me: Not right now but maybe later. Ill tell you tomorrow , im just going to go home because im so tired.

After I pressed send I took my phone and placed it inside my pocket.

I noticed that we past up my house.

"Umm , Trevor, why did we pass up my house?"

"I figured you wouldn't want to stay home by yourself right now. My mom told me that your Dad went out somewhere. I asked if you could spend the night and ofcourse my Mom agreed."

"Oh okay."

We walked inside of my second home and we walked upstairs without speaking to one another.

I opened my draw and pulled out some pj pants and a t-shirt. I have a draw of my clothes at Trevors since I've been here forever. I told you it was my second home.

Normally I take his bed and he sleeps on the floor beside it or we make a barricade of pillows in between us.

He went to make his bed on the floor when I grabbed his shoulder and quickly pulled him jn for another hug and layed my head on his chest. He put his head in my shoulder and we stayed there like that for a bit.

I let go and he asked, "What was that for?"

"I'm sorry Trev, I just needed a hug. I feel alone in this even though I know im not."

"Exactly, Im always there for you aren't I?"

I shook my head up and down.

He raised his hand and wiped away a tear that I didnt even know had fallen.

"Shh its okay baby girl. It'll be okay. I'm here."

Trevor embraced me once again and put my on the bed. He curled up next to me and held me. He kissed my forehead and right before I fell asleep, he whispered.

"I will never ever leave you alone. You will always be my sunshine Ashlyn."

I smiled and right then and there I fell into a deep comfortable sleep.
