My Hunt is Over

I looked into the beautiful baby blue eyes of Angel and petted her blonde maine, just admiring the way she listens to me. This horse probably knows me more than anyone else. Even Sadie and Trevor, my bestfriends, don't know as much as Angel. I gave her a treat and mt phone began to ring.

"I don't want easy, I want crazy, you with me baby ? Lets be crazy."

My favorite song blared through the speakers of my iphone. I grabbed it from my back pocket of my jeans not bothering to see who it was and already knew who called. It was my bestfriend Sadie.

"Hey girl! I just got back from practice, you called?"

Sadie had practice every day. I guess that's what you get when your a cheer captain and also playing volleyball.

"Yeah! Just wanted to say hey, see if you had any plans for this weekend, hoping we could hang out sometime with the three of us."

The three of us meaning Trevor, herself and I. We have always been the three muskateers ever since I can remember.

"Ofcourse i want to!"

"Wanna come to Jaxon's party then? We can all go!"

I let out a sigh. As you can kinda tell by my response I'm not much of a party person. The only thing is is that im shy, unless I know you, then thats a whole different level. Im not good at talking to new people.

"Oh come on Ash! It'll be fun! Ill help you meet some of the football players!"

To be totally honest, in my opinion, football players are all the same. Their all jerks with the biggest egos who get around through school and break girls hearts. Yes I know, its very stereo typical but its always true.

"Ugh, okay, what time is it?"

"Starts at nine, so we'll leave by eight thirty because the party is at his dad's cabin."

"Alright."

"Okay well I need to go home and shower and still take care of Galaxy."

If you couldn't tell already, Sadie has a horse of her own too. Almost everyone of us down here in Georgia own horses and land.

Since I had time I figured ill take Angel on a trail to let her out of her stall for a while. I also had to inform Trevor on the party so I figured I can just head out to his house.

Trevor and I have been bestfriends since we were born, our mother's were bestfriends and both of them dreamed about being their for eachother forever. Trevor is only a few months older than me.

I opened the gate where their horses roamed and let Angel roam off with her horse friends that she grew up with also.

I knocked on the front door and waited untill someone opened the door.

The door opened and revealed a smiling Mrs. Smith. I returned the smile and said hello.

"Ashlyn! Im so happy to see you, I haven't seen you around for a couple of days."

Yes, a couple of days seems so short but between me and Trevor a couple of days feel like years.

Mrs. Smith embraced me and spoke,

"You know where to find him."

I nodded my head and headed towards the man cave in the basement. Sure enough Trevor was there sitting on the couch playing Call of Duty on his xbox.

"Hey bro, hand me a controller?"

"Ahhhhhhh!" he screamed.

He almost jumped out of his seat because I apparently scared him. I began to laugh as he handed me a controller.

"Ash , you scared the crap outta me. I didn't know you were comin over." 

 "Yeah sorry I didn't give a heads up I just figured I could come to tell you that were going to a party and I wanted to ride Angel so I thought it be okay."

He paused the game and looked at me.

"Hey! Why did you pause it?"

"Ashlyn Marie Anderson, my bestfriend since you were born, is telling me were going to a party? Is this real life?"

I playfully punched him in the arm.

"Well im sorry im being dragged to a party by Sadie. If im going to down, your goin with me."

I heard him chuckle, "You know I never miss a party in this town anyways." then he put on his Trevor face, his smirk.

"Oh yes of course you can't. Tonight, at Jaxon's dad's cabin at nine. Now press resume so I can kill you in this game." he looked at me and I smirked.

"Two can play at this game."

Ofcourse I won the little game of call of duty.

Then I said my goodbyes and headed towards my house to get ready for this party.

Oh help me god.

Alright guys! Chapter one is done! -Its probably short but I created this off my phone so Im not sure how long it is on the computer.

Anyways, this chapter is just to get a feel about the character's daily lives.

I have good ideas about this story!
