After I get home, I put my phone to charge then head to take a shower. I left it down, since I didn't care if it got wet or not. I had enough time to blow-dry. After getting out of the shower, I wrap my towel around me then go to brush my teeth. I brush, rinse, then spit. I also use some Listerine for good measure.
Then I head back to my room and put on my new outfit. A black and white horizontal striped shirt, the kind that have the knot in the bottom. With some light wash boyfriend jeans. I dry my hair and put it into a messy bun. My nails were already done from the day before, I have tips with white nail polish on four fingers of each hand and silver glitter on the other one. I changed my phone case to a silver glitter one to match my nails. I know it's very extra but hey, that's how I roll. Next, I put on some eyeliner, mascara and perfume. Last but not least, I put on Kylie's lip set. Wow this color is gorgeous as f*ck. I put on some black ankle socks and go downstairs. Then I put on my white Adidas superstar sneakers.
Although I didn't take very long to get ready, (45 tops- including the shower) Nic was already dressed and ready in matching superstars a white solid shirt and black jeans. Boys. Wear barely anything and can still look good. They don't know the struggle.
Mom came around the corner just as Nic and I were getting ready to leave. "You guys lowkey matching outfits, lemme take a pic" she says pulling out her iPhone. All of us are literally obsessed with apple products. We all have the 6s with wireless beats to match. I have silver, mom has rose gold, Nic has gold, and dad has space gray. Yes, we're a spoiled family, I know. After taking a few pics, Nic and I head out to the car. I open up Snapchat and take a video. "Heading to out to our first party in Floridaaa" I say sing-songy. I double tap my screen "Check out my brother, he gets his style from meeee, yes, he copied my color scheme" I waggle my eyebrows before ending and posting the video.
We were about forty-five minutes late for the party and it was already beginning to get dark. I could tell that we were getting close to the party because the music was blasting. Nic and I get out of the car and head to the gate leading to the backyard. Now since I didn't have any friends.. I kinda stuck to Nic. I know, pathetic. But what was I supposed to do?
I heard someone call Nic's name and, instinctively, I look toward the direction of the person calling his name. Olivia. I kinda wanna laugh again but at the same time I'm relieved. I don't care if she came here for Nic, I'm stealing her for myself.
"Nic!" She calls out walking out direction. "Olivia!" I call back, preparing to intercept her. As I pass Nic to get to her, I hear him chuckle behind me. I'm such an annoying sister aren't I?
"Oh, Cass, hey!" She says, barely faltering. Props to her for that, if you want to date my brother, you have to be friends with me.
"Wanna dance?" I ask her.
"Sure!" She chirps.
We walk onto the dance floor and start dancing. And the song 'Loyal' by Chris Brown comes on. I'm not doing anything amazing but Olivia, wow Olivia was good! Next thing you know a circle starts forming, I subtlety excuse myself from the dance to join the circle. I also open up Snapchat because there's no way New York is missing this.
After about a minute Olivia wrapped up her dance. And people started cheering for her. I let her enjoy her lime light and head over to the food table because let's be honest, the free food is literally the best part of any party. On the way to the table I see Geo. I was going to go over to him to say hi but he was dancing with some girl so I decided against it. I could've sworn he had a girlfriend, the one he was walking with when I bumped into him after school. Then again, I don't know if they're really dating or not, I just assumed. I decide to mind my business and push the curiosity to the back of my mind continuing on my path to the food. But then I hear someone call my name.
