2.The Cullens

My head was on fire. Or so it felt like. Opening my eyes, the room spun. I closer my eyes and squeezed. 1....2......3....4....5.....6....7...8...9....10.  My gray eyes fluttered open. I was in a bedroom. I could hear the voices downstairs. Or rather their minds.

(How could this happen? Alice didn't predict their presention. Now she's gone....)

The mind reader was thinking about his "sister." I took a breath and let myself go. I was in their minds. Travelling to find the truth. In three seconds, their lives and secrets were mine. I smiled to myself. A sick, twisted smile. Sitting up, I noticed I was wearing different clothes. A pair of simple silver balletrina flats greeted my eyes. Dark jeans hugged my waist. A white shirt hugged my curves. I found a black cardigan next to me. I pulled it on and tip-toed downstairs. Voices greeted me.

"Who were these people?"

"I don't know," a voice that bells answered.

A voice that sounded like Emily's called out, "Is Renesme allowed human food?"

"Yes!"

I looked around the corner. Three vampires were in the room. One looks astoundingly gorgeous, even for a blood drinker. She is tall and statuesque, with an elegant figure. She has long, blond, wavy hair that goes down to the middle of her back. I tried not to gasp. She was golden eyes. I studied her. My eyes flickered to the woman next to her. She had the same pale, beautiful features as the rest of them. Something about her heart-shaped face, her billows of soft, caramel colored hair reminded me of the ingenues of the silent-movie era. She was small, slender, yet less angular, more rounded than the others. It made her look like the mother that you always wanted.

"Esme. Please talk," Bells pleaded with Mother.

My gray eyes shot to her. She had long brown looking hair past her shoulder. Her golden eyes held pain for the mother figure. Bells' has moon like. She looked like someone you could trust but I knew better. 

Moving towards the window, I heard the floor creak. The women jumped up and stared at me. Cursing, I jumped out the window. Shouts reached my ears. I flipped and landed on the ground with a thud. My muscles moved. I was running down the drive-way. Someone grabbed my arm, flipping me over. The tree hit my side with a thud. Pain shot threw my side. Blood surrounded me. I looked up to see two men.

One was unusually tall with high cheekbones, a strong jawline, a straight nose and full lips. His hair has unusual bronze shade. His eyes looked like liquid gold. Bronze has a slender but muscular body. My eyes shifted to the meaty looking one.  Meaty was very tall, very burly, and he looked very intimidating.  He looked muscular. Meaty looked handsome with dimples and slightly curly, dark brown hair.  I felt someones eyes on my blood. I hissed, surprising the two men.

"Hijos de puta. Debo matar, pero no voy por el bien de sus esposas." I hissed.

Bronze looked frustrated. I narrowed my eyes.

"Lector de la mente, deja de leer mi mente," I snapped.

Bronze spoke,"¿Hablas Inglés?"

"Yes," I replied.

Meaty laughed, "Boy did you fly."

I glared at him. "I am human not a blood drinker. It is your mistake that you made throwing me."

Meaty growled.

"Who is Rosalie? She is your mate." I spoke, more to myself.

He flinched at the name my lips formed. I raised an eyebrow. Then my memory came back to me. The blood, I thought. Taking a breath, I blew on my side. The scar, blood, and pain disappeared. Edward looked amused. I stepped forward. To my amusement, the vampires stepped back. Walking past them, I went in the house. The women stood and watched. I knocked on a door.

"Come in," a voice answered.

I walked in and inhaled sharply.The man who looked at me had the most beautiful golden eyes I had ever seen. He has collar-length blond hair. He looked slim with a well-toned medium frame. I shook my dark hair so that it uncovered my face. He looked at me with those damn golden eyes.  

"Someone was been killed," I said, softly. "A young vampire. One named Alice."  

Blondie stood quickly. I transferred my thoughts to his mind. He's eyes widened and whispered, "Breath taking."  

I gave him a weird look. Sam bursted in the room and hugged me.  

"Are you okay?" Sam asked, his eyes searched mine. I turned to face the vampire.  

"It was Ember," I spoke quietly. "It was my brother. He was changed a years ago. Did he.....?"  

Panic rose in my chest. I pushed Sam off of me. The walls seemed to keep getting closer. I rushed outside. I slammed into a rock. I looked up to see a blond, who was tall and lean. His skin was absolutely covered in scars, spaced most thickly together on his neck and jaw. Crescent shapes almost. His tawny eyes blazed at me. I stood then collapsed in his arms.  

"I'm sorry," was the last thing that left my lips as I passed out once more.
