Here I give you chapter 1 of MCC
PAMELA'S POV
It feels like yesterday but it's been eight years already since The Mega Com Cities (MCC) was discovered. This scrap book that I'm holding in my hands now hasn't turned old. I am Pamelia Altron and I'm now in my personal boat to MCC with my brother Mark and our things. Back at home just a week ago, I and mark decided to go to a place far from Eagan. And the first place that stirred my mind was MCC. I feel like there is some sort of mystery lies hidden in MCC. The first page of my scrap book had newspaper clippings which read:
April 1, 2008
Three new Caribbean islands were found today. These three newly found islands were found to be naturally connected by the roots of some trees. The thicknesses of the roots were extremely thicker. Out of the 3 islands one was quite bigger than the other two islands. This big island was centrally located. The group of people who discovered these islands named it the Mega Com Cities. Since the mega com cities were discovered on April 1, few people thought it as an April fool's day prank. But later it was proved that it was indeed true.
April 29, 2008
People have started inhabiting the mega com cities. Buildings are being constructed. The islands are being linked by bridges so that it would be easier to move from one island to the other.
The rest of the pages had some photos and most pages were empty. Today is May 21, 2016; it's more than eight years since MCC was found. Now I'm travelling to my mysterious utopia. It's like a dream come true to me. I have always wanted to live in an island. The reason me and Mark wanted to move out of Eagan was the death of my parents. They died in a car accident. Our house was filled with memories and we felt it haunting us, so here we are in MCC. I should really appreciate Mark for he has done a great job in buying a villa in MCC.
"Hey Mark! The house looks great" I said.
"Thanks Pam but it would be better if you get me something to eat now cuz I'm really hungry"
"Let's go out for breakfast shall we?" I asked him.
"Ok Pam but why are we going out when you can cook well?"
"I am so tired Mark. We spent the whole of yesterday in travelling in flights and boat."
"Can we take out car Pam?"
"No Mark! We are going by walk. I need to explore the island."
"You just said that you were feeling tired but now you are saying that we are going by walk and you want to explore the island. I really can't understand you. Actually not just you, all girls are hard to understand." Mark mumbled and walked out of the house.
AT ALEX'S HOUSE ON MAIN ISLAND
ALEX'S POV:
I opened my eyes and found Brit sleeping peacefully. I too was sleeping peacefully but my peaceful sleep was disturbed by the noise of vehicles. I looked out the window and I saw a truck with lot of things and a car with a guy and a girl. They looked cute together. I jumped to a conclusion that she must be his girlfriend because she looked like she was his age and she was resting her head on his shoulders. And suddenly reality hit me. They were moving into the villa next to ours. I took a cold shower and came out of the house to get some fresh air. I saw the guy standing in his front porch. I thought he must be waiting for his girlfriend. And she came out of the house. Suddenly I felt someone pat my head. It was Brit. I quickly hugged her and I said "Good morning Brit", actually I screamed a bit louder which turned the attention of the new neighbors. The guy and the girl started to talk about something and they were walking towards our gate. Meanwhile I explained to Brit what happened while she was asleep.
