Chapter Two.
The next day at school, I heard laughter. I didn't really care why they were laughing. I was just hoping it wasn't about me. The boy who had taken my seat yesterday came up to my locker. "Hey." I looked around me expecting someone behind me. But no one was there. "Um, hi.", I replied confused. "Um, I saw you were alone, so I decided to come and keep you company.", he said smiling a mile a minute. His smile was engaging. "Oh. Thank you." , I replied smiling for once in my life. "But I don't need company. Trust me you'll get made fun of for talking to me.", I said sadly. "I don't care.", he shrugged. Confused I walked away, but he followed me. "Do you need something?", I asked rather rudely. "Um, sorry to make you feel like I'm following you, but we have class together this period.", he said kind of scared like. "Oh, I'm sorry.", I replied a little annoyed.
The bell rang and I left not expecting him to be at my locker again. But again, he was there. "Is there a reason your following me?", I asked frustrated. He seemed like a dangerous kind of guy. "Your mysterious. I gotta know who you are.", he whispered slightly. I kind of smiled and I didn't know why. I've never smiled as much s I have today. It was...amazing! He seemed very engaging, as if I was a character in a movie who he couldn't keep his eyes off of. I felt....loved for the first time. Then it hit me! He must like me as more than a friend! Suddenly, I was feeling all mushy and gooey inside. That's when I realized that I've never had a boyfriend let alone a guy friend. Or a friend at that. So if we were to get close I wouldn't know what to do or say.
I was willing to let him in my life though. I needed some one here for me. No one has ever treated me like I'm special before. So, I wanted him in my life. Especially since he can make me smile unlike any one else.
