Chapter 4: Present time

Natigil ang pag alala ni Brianna sa nakaraan nila ni Bryan ng biglang may kumatok sa kwarto niya kaya naman agad agad siyang bumangon at pumunta sa bathroom to wash her face para hindi mahalata ng kung sino ang pag iyak niya.

"Come in!" Sigaw niya matapos masiguro na maayos na ang look niya.

"My lady, your mother has arrived at the private airport, any time soon she will be here so make sure you are now ready".

"Yes butler, I'll just fix myself. Thanks by the way".

Lumabas na ng kwarto niya ang kanyang butler at siya naman ay naglakad papunta sa walk-in closet niya.

Everything really changed about her, from the way she dress and talks. She became more elegant unlike before, when the time that he met the love of her life. I guess change is really the most constant thing in this world. We change to become better and to show everyone that you are a winner and not a loser.

She chose her sexy red tube dress above the knee. Most of her clothes are all new because she's a shopaholic. Talking about richness and classness.

She paired her dress with her white prima donna cigarette heels. She also wears her white gold heart pendant that her dad gave to him in her debut and her simple gold earring. And puts on a very light make up, she tied her hair up in to a ponytail.

One final glance in her mirror and she's  good to meet the person that she adores very much since she was a baby.

She walks out of her room and went down stairs slowly but with class and pure elegance.

"Naku! Ang ganda ganda naman ng anak ko" bungad sakanya ng kanyang manang fe. Nginitian niya ito at nagpasalamat sakanya. Sinamahan naman siya ni butler papunta sa dining area dahil ayon dito nandoon na ang kanyang mama at hinihintay na siya.

As she entered the dining she was greeted by a very stunning woman in her late forties, ngunit hindi mahahalata ang edad niya dahil sa kagandahan nito. As if she is just staring in her own reflection, it's just that it's a bit matured and look well experienced than her.

Upon staring at her mom she was a taken back when she was hugged by her.

"I know you'll grow up a very beautiful fine lady. I missed you so much, my princess". Her mother said.

She felt warm inside her chest. She never thought of this coming. She always thought that there will always be a wall when the time that her mother arrives here because she believed that they never became close like other mother and daughter relationship.
She grew up without a mother by her side. She was raised by her nanny.

"Beautiful like you. Thanks mom. I've missed you too".

"Come, let's eat our dinner and have small chat. I really want to know how are my daughter's affairs and what is she planning for her career. Your daddy and I are planning something in your graduation party."

And here I thought that she already changed but guess I was wrong. She was and will still control my life and meddle with my own business and affairs. And how I hated that thought!

"Same old me seven years ago when you and dad left for good, and frankly speaking it surprised me to see you again here, mom". I made sure na diinan yung huling salitang binanggit ko.

Shocked and guiltiness is visible in her eyes for a split seconds and disappeared easily, aakalain mong guni guni mo lang . I guess she did not expected me to answer her like that.

"Really? I'm quite impress with the sudden strong behavior of yours, daughter. And I never expected you to answer me like that!"

That's right. Show me your emotions mom. Do not hide it from me. I want to see the pain in your eyes because it pained me more when I see no emotions at all. I feel like I'm not really important to you and dad just like before.
