The Powers Unleashed Chapter 4

    The first explosion shook the ground.  The second one started the screaming. Artic told them to run, but they didn't.
    They ran out the tent, then Colin and Zack flashed and turned into their animals. Adira ran to try and save some families, but the third explosion came. It stopped all the screaming short.
    Adira screamed and fell to her knees, knowing they all died.
    Zack pulled her away, and then they all ran. The stadium destroyed and in flames, and bodies littered everywhere.

    They escaped, but the ground in front of them exploded and they all flew back. Rubble flied everywhere, scratching everyone.
    "Oww" Liam said.
    Then people came up to them, and tried to pick them up. But Adira and Colin stood up and fought them off. Adira kicked one guy then Colin scratched him with the dagger and pushed him into another man. Adira jumped up and and landed on someone the elbowed him. Colin flipped one guy and elbowed another. He turned into a leopard and scratched the guy on the ground that he flipped.
    When they were finally finished off, the group got up to run once again ( going at a slower pace thanks to the scratches).
    They found a car and drove away. Soon after they realized that Artic was bleeding out. Adira got up and covered the cut, hoping that he won't die.
    Then the group started to drive to the nearest hospital. But when they arrived, it was too late. Adira started crying, and said  " We must win this war. For Artic, and for all the lives suffered." " How?" Chris said " We don't know who to trust, where to go, or how to beat them. Heck, we don't even complete control of our powers." "Then we train." Adira said.

Sorry about the super short chapter and for not posting anything lately. I think the chapter had a good ending please leave a comment if you like the book so far!
PS: You have to read the book 'Mythical Academy'! It's soooo good. It's on my reading list if you want to read it.
