A/N: Doesn't Patrick's smile look so adorable? I am internally screaming.

Patrick's POV

Shortly after our conversation, Kassie closed her eyes and her soft snores can be heard from my standing point. Since I respected her privacy, I searched for the nearest pen and paper and wrote a few words.

Kassie, you passed out so I'm going to do the same, but only at my dorm. I'll text you tomorrow.

Good night,
Pat (:

I silently walked up to her nightstand and placed it on top of the base of the lamp. Just as I was about to shut the door, I felt something was incomplete. I walked up to her once again and kissed her forehead softly, not wanting to wake her up. My action brought a sense of comfort throughout my body - something that I have strangely never felt before. Afterwards, I turn off all the lights and quietly close the door behind me. Good night Kassandra.

When I retrieve back to my dorm, I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. Just by looking at Kassie, my heart jumps to another dimension, and everything about her is extremely breathtaking. Unfortunately, the smile plastered onto my face causes my roommate to furrow his eyebrows in confusion when I enter the room. "Why are you so happy?" Brendan, my roommate, asks me while his eyes are glued to his phone.

"It's this girl, she absolutely makes my heart race, and I just met her a day ago," I sigh dreamily, collapsing onto my bed.

I can see Brendan smiling proudly, probably because I am a first-timer when it comes to developing feelings for a woman. "Ah, I see. What's her name?" I didn't hesitate to say her name. "Kassie."

After her name rolled off my tongue, Brendan immediately sat up, widening his eyes. "Kassandra?" he whispers. I nod slowly, unsure of why my roommate would be acting this way. "Perhaps you may know her?"

Brendan shakes his head sideways. "Probably not. Besides, there are thousands of girls with the name 'Kassandra'." I nod my head in agreement.

"I used to have a girlfriend named Kassandra. But like I said, there's like a 99.99 percent chance that it's not her."

Kassandra's POV

My eyes gradually open, slowly adjusting to the morning sun shining through the blinds. I groan, stretching my arms to the point I where I nearly knocked down my glass lamp, a gift that my grandmother gave to me before she passed away. I sigh in relief and get up from my warm bed. When my feet touch the cold hardwood floor, I feel my right foot stepping on some sort of paper. Curiously, I bend down to grab the tiny sheet and read the note, which is signed by Patrick at the footer. I giggle at his messy signature, since the "P" looked more like a "D".

While brushing my hair, my phone screen lights up and the chorus of "A Sky Full of Stars" sounds throughout the room. I paced to my desk and accepted the call without a second thought.

"Good morning beautiful," Pat whispers in a raspy voice. My cheeks instantly redden. Then, I came up with a quick trick.

"You have the wrong number," I holler in a deep voice, wanting to mess around with him a bit.

I can hear shuffling from the other end of the phone line, "Oh what the heck. Shoot, I meant to call sometime else. Sorry about that." He says in a worried tone.

His gullibility forces me to collapse on my leather chair and laugh hysterically, which is embarrassing since my laugh sounds rather horrendous. "I can't believe you fell for that!" my voice screamed, possibly waking up the person next door.
