Ra's was furious that the bat had escaped, and with someone under covers aid... again. The assassin rubbed his temples as he went through the possible suspects that could be on the inside of the league. Ra's sighed annoyed as he went up to Damians doorway. Maybe the next few hours of...activities would get his mind off of things.
Damian sat in his room, and sighed annoyed."Why did I have to disobey." Damian mumbled to himself as he laid sprawled out across his bed. The bullet wound was still sparking with some flares of pain with certain movements yet it was feeling better.
Ra's did one small tap on his grandson's door. "Damian, I must speak with you. Now." He ordered flooding his arms behind his back standing with perfect posture as usual.
Damian got up and opened the door keeping his shoulders rolled back and his stance correct. "Yes, grandfather?"
Ra's looked down to his grandson, no sympathy in his gaze. "Damian, do you regret what you said earlier? Your mother has requested for your punishment to be lighter if you agree once more to my terms. We need you in prime condition when we go after the project 52 again."
"Why would I regret doing what was right." Damian said glaring up at his grandfather in defiance. 'Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. You could have gotten off so easily.' Damian mentally groaned at the inner voice in his head.
Ra's glowered down at the centuries younger child with a disapproving frown. "I will give you one last chance Damian."
Damian looked down biting his lip, and he looked back up. "My answer stays the same..." Damian said not backing down -not many stood up to his grandfather- he was going to change that. "Like I said before punishing only makes people rebelious."
"Why would you rebel against me Damian? I am your grandfather, your mentor, your leader. I'm the reason you even exist and have the ability to control the league." Ra's said angrily. The assassin bent down his head inches above his grandson's. "You are prepared for the consequence correct?"
"Go ahead...no matter what your going to do it if I am or not." Damian said.
"Why must you act this way?" Ra's sighed disapprovingly as he straightened once again. "I don't wish to harm my successor yet when times come things must happen to maintain the balance." The assassin looked down at Damian with slightly pursed lips in thought. "Now my daring 'rebellious' grandson, who would pleasure you more to be your...purser?"
"Wow I get a choice." Damian mumbled sarcastically. "How should I know, Grandfather." Damian stated his elders name with venom.
"Damian," Ra's said bitterly, "you should be respecting me, child. I could always make your consequence worse."
"Sorry, grandfather." He said quietly, lowering his gaze a touch.
Ra's smirked, pleased with the reaction. "Now that's a good boy." He patted his grandson on the shoulder before turning toward the door. "Will you accept the fate you chose of must I drag a tantrum?"
