Izaya's POV

'Why are they staring at us like that?' I thought to myself

Bard was the first to speak "Um, w-why are you so calm about her trying to poison you?"

"Well obviously because it didn't work. She failed and it has happened before" I said as shrugging

"Well, shouldn't you be scared?" May-rin asked

"I suppose so?" I said unsure "I mean they haven't ever succeeded, so why should I?"

"Well it's not something that happens everyday" May-rin answered

"I suppose" I said "anyway I have more work to do, later"

"Bye" they all said I unison

At the ball~Sebastian's POV

'Where could young master be?' I thought then I heard him call my name "come Sebastian" I smirked then ran to young master when I got there I saw him blind folded and tied in a cage with people bidding. I put the light out and then went for everyone in the room. I finally got to him and we left looking for Madam Red.

"Do you see her anywhere?" Young master asked

"No, it seems my brother was right" I sighed and called brother 'She's gone meet us in the front with the cloths for Bocchan I gave you earlier' I waited for a reply and one came 'Ok nee-san'

Izaya's POV~outside the ball

"Over here" I said when I saw them

"Did you bring the cloths?" Sebastian asked

"Ya, here" I said as I handed him the clothes. I waited as he put those clothes on ceil to make I'm look like a commoner.

"Let's go" I heard my brother say, then he picked up ceil and we went to the house we assumed Madam Red to go after next. Then I heard a scream

"How?" I heard ceil shout "We should have seen them go in"

We all ran in the direction of the scream and ceil opened the door and saw a girl cut up. Brother covered his eyes and jumped at a safe distance away from the scene in front of us. Then that butler Madam Red asked Sebastian to train came out covered in blood. Sebastian talked to him, he tried to play innocent. Then when he was tired of trying to convince us he 'wasn't' the culprit, he changed his hair and personality

'I knew it he is a shinigami' I thought

Later Madam red came out and started to tell us her back story. Grell attacked Sebastian, so I went to help.

Time skip~after the fight~Izaya's POV

Madam Red lay on the floor and another shinigami came and took Grell away Sebastian, Ceil and I started to walk to the manor. I could smell Shizu-chan's smell and growled slightly.

"What's the matter?" Sebastian asked, he stopped walking and so did Ceil

"Well I can smell Shizu-chan and I don't want to start a fight with him right now" I said sighing

"Well then we should probably go" he answered. I just nodded

Shizuo's POV

'I smell the flea' I thought with a grunt

"What's the matter?" Shinra asked

"I smell the flea" I said

"Should we follow it and see if we can find him?" He asked and Celty nodded liking the idea, I just shrugged
