Part 2: The Hospital and home life

Later at the hospital:

The whole team is waiting for Tony to wake up. The nurse came into the waiting room to address the team. "Family of Anthony Dinozzo?" Everybody stood up. "I am sorry but he can only have one visitor." "Ziver you go we all know Tony means a lot to you. Ok everybody lets head back Ziva is gonna go." "Thanks Gibbs." "No problem Ziver anything for you." The nurse turns to Ziva and guides her to his room. "Here we are Ms. David." "Thanks nurse I will call you if I need anything." The nurse leaves and Ziva goes next to Tony's bed and holds his hand. Tony coughs and wakes up to her touch. "Ziva." He said very weakly. "Yes Tony I am here it's me." "I really meant what I said earlier." "What was that?" Ziva said through her almost tears. "That I love you. Awww my Ziva don't cry." "I am trying not to." "Sweet cheeks I am ok look at me!" "I remember the last time you called me that. Haha. What did they want?" "I don't wanna tell you." "Tony please open up to me don't shut me out." "Sweet cheeks I am trying to protect you ok?" "Ok Tony or should I say my little hairy butt." They both chuckled a little then they just stared at each other for a while then Tony sat up and pulled Ziva closer. "Tony what are you doing?" She could not resist him so she let him kiss her then she kissed him back. When they finally pulled away, "Oh Ziva that was nice I did not know if you would do it or if you would have just pulled away." "That was my way of telling you something." "What was that?" "That I love you." Ziva kissed him on the cheek. "Where is everyone else at?" "The nurse only let one person come in and Gibbs let me go." "Do you think maybe he knows about us?" "Is this your way of asking me to be your girlfriend, Tony?" "In a way yes. Ziva will you please pretty please be my girlfriend?" "Of course I will Tony. I could never say no to you my little hairy butt." Then Ziva leaned in and kissed Tony hard and with all of the passion in the world. She was making his heart beat really fast it was beating so fast that he had to pull away to catch his breath. "Tony is there anything wrong?" "Not really except that I like cant breath. Do not get me wrong I loved it but it would be better if we did that when I am healthy." "Ok Tony. Whatever you want. I am so happy I finally got to tell you that I love you." "I am too! I was not sure if I was gonna make it out of there alive or not so I decided to because I thought you would like to know." "Thanks so much Tony it made me telling you that I love you so much easier." Ziva's phone rings, she looks down it is Gibbs. "Hey Ziver, how's Tony doing?" "He is doing great Gibbs!" She says as she comes over and pets his hair. "That is really great Ziver. Can I talk to him please?" "Sure Gibbs. Tony, Gibbs wants to talk to you." Tony takes the phone and starts talking to Gibbs. "Do you know why they kidnapped you or who they were?" "I do but I would rather tell you face to face." "Do not want to tell Ziva what all happened?" "No I really don't Boss." "Ok then I will come by later and we will sort this out ok?" "That will be fine Boss." "Dinozzo feel better ok we need you back here." "Ok Boss will do. Bye." "Bye Tony." Tony hangs up the phone and gives it to Ziva. "What was that all about?" "Oh just some work stuff." "I am going to call Gibbs back ok?" "Ok sweet cheeks." Ziva dials Gibbs again. "Hey Ziver what's up?" "I was just wondering if you need me to come in and help you guys?" "Naw you need to stay with Dinozzo." "Ok Gibbs thanks." Ziva hangs up and smiles at Tony. "I would assume that you can stay with me!" "Yes my little hairy butt you and me get to me together the whole day." They kissed again then Ziva sat back down and held Tony's hand. The nurse came into the room. "Mr. Dinozzo, Ms. David I have good news. Mr. Dinozzo you can go home as long as you sign all of these forms." Tony signed all of the forms and smiled at Ziva. "Thank you nurse for taking such good care of him." "Your welcome Ms. David." The nurse walks out and Ziva smiles at Tony. "I am so happy I get to spend the whole day with my little hairy butt." "Will you stay with me at my apartment tonight?" Ziva hesitated with her answer. "Sure Tony we will have to stop by my place so I can get packed." "Ok sweet cheeks." They had a almost silent car ride to Ziva's apartment. Once they got there Ziva packed for a week in about 5 minutes flat. Once they arrived at Tony's place, Ziva had to help him get inside then run out and get the stuff. She put Tony on the couch while she puts away all of the stuff. "Tony!" "Yes sweet cheeks!" "Sweet heart I have to run to the store for some things ok call me if you need anything or something happens." "Ok how long do you think you will be gone?" "I would say about 30 minutes no more then 45, ok? Can you live without me for that long?" "I don't know if I can but I will definitely try." "Ok sweetheart bye!" She kissed him and walked out the door. Tony calls Gibbs. "Yeah Dinozzo?" "Ziva left for the store she will be gone for a while. Do you want to come over and talk?" "Sure Dinozzo if that is what you want. See you in a few." Bye, Boss" Gibbs arrives a few minutes later and Tony strains as he walks to answer the door. "Hey Boss." "Hey Dinozzo. You need any help?" "Yeah a little. Thanks." "So what exactly happened?" "Well........" Just as he starts Ziva walks in. "Sweetheart I decided we should just go out for dinner. Oh hey Gibbs. What are you doing here?" "I am just here to talk about work Ziver don't worry about it. I will see you later Dinozzo." "Ok bye Boss." Gibbs leaves and Ziva goes immediately to Tony. "What was it really about?" "Sweet cheeks I am so sorry but I can not tell you." "Why not Tony? What are you keeping a secret from me?" "I just don't want you to know about this ok? Ziva understand this I love you and I am doing everything I can to protect you so by not telling you something I am protecting you!" "Ok Tony if that is really what you want." She started to cry a little. "Oh my Ziva don't cry come on let's go get something to eat. Lets walk there I got to exercise a little." "Ok Tony. Let me go get ready." About ten minutes later they started walking to the restaurant. It was very dark as they were walking there so it was hard to see. All of a sudden four shot rang out, Tony fell down! Ziva immediately called for an ambulance. "Tony FIGHT FIGHT PLEASE FOR ME! TONY I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH TO LOSE YOU! DON'T DO THIS TO ME!" "Ziva......... I........ Will........ Fight for you!"
