Part 9: The mission

Tony's POV:

Well after a few days we have finally moved into our house. We have started on the baby room. Since we do not know the gender we are not going to paint the room till we do. Now I have to go back to work, but Ziva is coming with me to visit with Abby.

L: "Agent Dinozzo, I need to see you in my office."

I ran up the stairs to his office and sat down.

T: "What do you need Director?"

L: "First let me say congrats on your engagement and the baby."

T: "Well thanks Director! We both appreciate that!"

L: "I need you for an undercover mission."

T: "How long? and with who?"

L: "About 8 months and you will be with Ray Cruz."

T: "RAY CRUZ!!!! HE WAS IN PRISON!!!!!"

L: "Well the CIA bailed him out of prison. He asked for you personality."

T: "When will I have to leave because I would like to get married soon."

L: "You will leave in one month."

T: "Can I think about it and discuss it with my 'wife'?"

L: "Yes but I need to know not later then next Friday."

T: "Thank you director."

I walked out of his room got into the elevator to find Ziva. I go down to Abby's lab and grab Ziva and we go to our meeting spot the elevator and shut the power off.

Z: "I can tell something is wrong with you honey what is it?"

T: "Director Vance has offered me a job in an undercover op."

Z: "That is great honey! Why are you so sad?"

T: "Baby. ummmm he told me it would last 8 months and I have to go with Ray."

Z: "Will we be able to talk while you are gone?"

T: "I do not know. Should I take it?"

Z: "When does he have to know by? when would you leave?"

T: "He needs to know by next Friday and I will leave in one month. If it is ok I would like to start that op as a married man."

Z: "Are you asking that we have the wedding in the next month?"

T: "Yes or I don't take this job. I just thought that I might miss the birth of my child!" *starts to tear up*

Z: "Sweet heart, we can do the wedding early. As for the baby honey you know me I will be fine I would have really wanted you there but job before me."

T: "NO! I don't care about my job I care about my wife and my child that she is carrying."

Z: "Oh sweet heart this is why I love you so much!"

She pulled me by the tie and kissed me really hard. I put my hands by her stomach to protect the baby. After like five minutes we finally stopped kissing and practically having sex in the elevator.

Z: "And you said you were going with Ray honey that is really dangerous remember what he did the last time we saw him? I just don't want him to make me a widow and think that I still love him."

T: "I will not let him kill me because I will fight just for you even if it is just to see you one more time you are my all and my everything no matter what."

Z: "I know honey. I love you so much. I think you should take this job. Can you ask Vance if you will be able to talk to me?"

T: "I will right now baby."

*pulls out phone txt vance*

"Will I be able to talk to my wife while I am gone?"

"Only at certain points of the day. But it will probably be with a burn phone but you will bring your phone just in case."

T: "He said yes I will be able totally to you but only at certain parts of the day."

Z: "Well that makes it a little better."

T: "I am going to sleep on it and we will discuss it more ok baby?"

Z: "Yes honey that is fine now we have to plan our wedding. I can't wait to be Mrs. Ziva Dinozzo!"

T: "I know baby! I will see you later ok?"

Z: "Ok hubby." *giggles*

T: "I love it so much when my wife giggles."

I pulled her into a long and passionate kiss. Once we finally let go and said goodbye I went back up to the squad room. We still did not have a case just a lot of paper work to do. I finished mine before Ziva came back so I started on hers. I had just placed them on her desk ready for her signature as she got out of the elevator.

Z: *opens the paper work, looks up at Tony in confusion* "Did you do my paperwork for me hubby?"

T: *stands up and walks over to her* "Yes I did my ninja. They are ready for your signature."

Z: *gives him a small kiss on the lips* "Thanks hubby! Ugh I love you so much!"

T: "I love you more. But there will always be someone I will love more."

Z: *gets nervous* "WHAT?"

T: "Don't freak out ninja." *places his hands on her stomach* "It will be this little one who will look you in the eyes and say "Mommy" and look me in the eyes and say "Daddy"."

Z: "Awww Tony honey that was so sweet. Dang mood swings I think I am going to cry!"

I pulled her into me and she tried so hard not to cry in front of everyone else. Gibbs walks by and sees her.

G: *mouths the words* Is she ok?

T: *mouths the words* It is just the dumb mood swings.

G: "You two lovers can go home if you want."

T: "Sweet heart do you want to go home?"

Z: "Yes honey I just want to cuddle with you!"

T: "Ok then. Boss we are leaving call me if you need anything."

G: "Ok Tony. Hope you feel better Ziver."

Z: "It is just being pregnant is really kicking in now."

We went home and watched several movies. During one of them I feel asleep.

Ziva's POV:

Tony fell asleep on me during one of the movies. I love him so much. All of a sudden my stomach started hurting. I think that the baby is starting to kick!

Z: "Tony sweet heart wake up!"

T: "What is happening?"

Z: " The baby is starting to kick!"
