Chapter 5

IN THE CAR

The car ride to Drake's house what's completely silent. Drake quietly sat in the passengers seat looking out the window while Nicki focused on the road ahead.

DRAKES THOUGHTS

Nicki must really hate me right now for beating up her baby's daddy but his pussy ass deserved it. But on the bright side Nicki and Jayden are coming to live with me. I really wanna know what Nicki is thinking but I know she won't want to talk about anything for a while. I just want to be the one to protect her and Jayden and that's what i'll do.

NICKIS THOUGHTS

I can't believe what just happened. I mean I'm not mad at Drake but I didn't want him fighting Evan. Drake is just my knight and shining armor. I want to give Drake a chance but I think it's too soon. Ugh! I just some time to think. What is my love life coming to?

NOONES POV

Nicki pulled up to Drake's house and parked the car. She got out without saying a word and grabbed all of her and Jayden's things. Drake got out the car and got Jayden out his car seat. They walked to the door and drake unlocked it.

Drake: babygirl you can put your stuff in my room and put Jay's stuff in one of the spare rooms. 

Nicki just did as she was told and quietly walked upstairs.

NICKIS POV

I walked upstairs and placed my bags in Drake's room and put Jayden's stuff in the room next to ours.  I walked downstairs because I decided to talk to Drake. When I reached the bottom of the steps I heard him talking to Jayden I leaned against the wall and listened.

Drake: Jayden I know you don't understand me but I really love your mommy and I want her to be my girlfriend

Jayden had his eyes on Drake and played with his chain.

Drake: I wish she would just talk to me so I can apologize for beating your dad's ass

Jayden put his hands on Drake's chest and started patting it

Drake: I mean your mom is the prettiest woman I've ever laid eyes on and have you seen her ass

Jayden made spit bubbles and bounced around

Drake: you know what little man your a good listener

Drake kissed his forehead and rocked him in his arms. This warmed Nicki's heart and she loved Drake even more for how he treated and loved Jayden.

DRAKES POV

I was sitting on the couch holding Jayden when Nicki came down the stairs. She sat next to me and kissed me on the cheek.

Nicki: I heard what you said to Jayden

Drake: all of it?

Nicki: yes

Drake: even the part about your ass?

Nicki: yes drake lol

Drake: oh

Nicki: Drake can I ask you something

Drake: of course

Nicki: would you like to be my boyfriend

Drake: yesssssssssss

Nicki: lmao ok ok I get it

I put Jayden in his play pin and kissed Nicki passionately. i'm so glad she's mine now.

Nicki: And thank you for what you did today

Drake: no problem and i'm sorry you had to see that

Nicki: your fine

I walked toward Nicki and put my hands around her waist and kissed her neck.

Nicki: I love you papi

Drake: I love you too babygirl
