Skye's point of view:

Come on love we need to go said clint walking into my hospital room the doctor had wanted to keep me for a few days to make sure I was okay but truth to be told I wasn't our mom was dead and today was her funeral and both steve and clint came home to be here for this sad moment.

Can you help me I asked clint gave me a sad smile before helping me with my jacket and neclake before helping me out of bed I can't do this I said tears coming down don't cry baby girl it's going to be okay said clint pulling me into his arms I clung to clint tightly it hurts now I agree but will find out who did this and will make them pay said clint in such a deadly voice I knew he was going to keep that promise.

You ready now baby girl asked clint as ready as I will be I said clint wrapped his arm around my waist and togther we headed to the parking lot where clint's motorcycle was parked clint tossed me his helemt to put on even though he didn't have a extra one I knew better than to fight him after clint got on first I soon followed and wrapped my arms around clint tightly it took a total of 45 minutes to get to where we were going when there wasn't much traffic clint would place one of his hands over mine where here skyelight said clint making my eyes fill up with tears again clint let out a sigh helping me off of his bike I wrapped my arms around myself walking through the crowd our mom was a well known person so there where a lot of people here and then friends of mine and my siblings showing there support.

I let out a small smile at the sight of ward standing next to steve who had his arm wrapped around bobbi who I could tell had been crying like I have steve's face lit up slightly when he saw me I manged to give him a weak smile steve said something to bobbi who nodded and soon steve was walking towards me hey angel eyes said steve before pulling me into his arms hugging me tightly god I've missed you I said and I've missed you said steve it was hard to belive we haven't seen each other in over a year I wish it was on better terms said steve making me let the tears fall I let out a sigh me to I said softly I'll catch up to you later said steve quickly running up to someone may I thought as I watched my brother hug his former girlfriend I'm sorry for your lost baby I heard ward say wrapping his arms around me tightly.

Thanks I whispered leaning against his chest it's going to get better I promise said ward I hope so I said softly ward didn't say anything other then hugged me tighter I love you I whispered love you to I'll let you do your rounds but don't worry I'll get back to you later said ward kissing me gently on the lips before walking off skye said may walking up to me melindia I said giving her a forced smile oh my little solider may said in chiense pulling me into her arms I let out a sob hugging may tightly I'm so sorry for your lost and I know right now that doesn't mean much but the hurt does lessen as time goes by I know that for a fact said may pulling back from our hug I know it will get better but all I feel right now is pain and I can't get past the pain of losing our mom it hurts so bad I sobbed may pulled me in for another hug shh shh said may rubbing my back with her hands I want to give you this said may pulling back again what is it I asked whiping my tears off my face.

It use to belong to hunter but I want you to have it said may handing me a ring that had a sliver thick sliver band with a small dimond in it it's beautiful I whispered it use to be lance's mum's he gave it to me to hang onto when he left for his last mission right before he died may's voice broke at the end of the senctence before clearing her thorat I know you and lance where becoming great friends and I want you to have something of his said may I can't take this you should keep it I said trying to give the ring back to may but she wouldn't take it back.

No I want you to have it skye hunter would of wanted you to have it don't worry I have a lot of other things that his mother gave me said may I gave her a waterly smile thank you I said placing hunter's ring on my middle fingure with a small smile if you need anything and I mean anything at all don't hesitant to call me alright said may pulling me in for another tight hug I won' t I promise I said may gave me one last hug before walking back over to steve.

Even though they weren't a couple anymore I could tell they still cared for each other very much skye said jemma walking up to me not long after may had left jemz I said using the nickname I gave her I heard and came as soon as I could I'm so sorry for your lost said jemma pulling me in for a heart stopping hug even though people meant well I was getting tried of people telling me they where sorry about my lost a part of me prayed this was all a nightmare but a bigger part of me knew I wasn't dreaming and It hurt so much I'm sorry honey I understand what your going threw said jemma I just closed my eyes completely I forgot jemma had gone through the same pain and so had may so if anyone understood it was them.

Does it truly get better I asked pulling back from jemma she gave me a sweet smile it does over time it alos helps when your around the people who love you and skye don't forget where all here for you and your family said jemma making me smile thank you I whispered anytime anytime now I better go find fitz before the wake starts said jemma leaving to find our little brother.

You ready asked ward grabbing my hand I manged to give him a small smile as ready as I'll ever be I said alright ward whispered leading me to wehre our seats where sadly I had to sit in the front without the support of ward he sat 2 rows behind us while I sat with my dad and siblings I sat between clint and bobbi as I sat down my began to let the tears fall even more so the funreal blew by rather quickly I didn't pay much attention to anything that fury said about mom I let out a small jump when some agent handed me mom's jacket and badge I'm sorry for your lost agent coulson said one of the agents thank you I whispered bobbi grabbed my right hand squeezing it gently I watched as they lowered mom inot the ground and that's when I fell apart completely as I broke down sobbing harsly I felt clint pull me into his arms shh shh whispered clint rocking me back and forth I ladi my head on his shouder still crying hard nothing would ever be the same mom was dead our lives would never be the same how on earth could we ever get to where our lives where before but I knew one thing for sure we have each other and as long as we have each other we where home.
