Hunters point of view:

I knew where I was before I opened my eyes I've spent to much time in this place I was in the hospital letting out a moan as I tried to move.

Hunter oh my gosh I'm going to go get the doctor I'll be right back said who I thought was bobbi leaving me alone to my thoughts to be honest the only thing I could think of is how much pain I was in and that may was going to kill me for scaring her like this.

Using the last of my strength I managed to open my eyes but closed them right away I almost forgotten how bright lights could be soon I heard someone walk back into my room slowly I opened my eyes to see bobbi and who I thought was the doctor.

How are you feeling lad the doctor asked like a building feel on top of me I said making the doctor smile but bobbi just countie to look at me in concern. You are very lucky you got four broken ribs two cracked one sprain knee and 16 stiches how's the pain your "wife" informed us you don't do pain meds said the doctor I let out a smile.

A few years back I got hurt so bad they thought I was going to make it but because I didn't have a next kin the hospital wouldn't tell may anything so when I got better may told me we should get married incase anything like this happens again either of us had the choice on what to do if the doctor told us for example one of us would never wake up again we had the power to pull the plug.

Nothing I can't handle I said making the doctor nod good I'll let your "wife" know your awake said the doctor leaving the room how are you really feeling asked bobbi its hurt but like I said I've been through worst I said giving bobbi a small smile I'm glad you're okay you had everyone worried said bobbi nice to know people care I said with a forced smile bobbi thankfully didn't ask any questions she just placed a kiss on my forehead I care she whispered before leaving the room.

I was glad some people cared for me my life at home wasn't the best both of my parents were shield agents for most of my life my parents were never around always on missions there work was more important than me it went on for years til I was 13 I was sick of all the secrets all the lies but my mom feel sick due to a poison that shield had created when I was 15 my mother told me how sorry she was and everything she could about shield she literally spent her dying breath telling me how sorry she was later that year I joined the actual shield without going to shield high or any of the academies due to who my parents where but after a mission going very wrong director fury sent me to this school to learn and recover from my injures and I liked it so much I chose to stay at shield high.

Hunter said may cutting me from my thoughts looking at my best friend she looked horrible pale scared you could tell she had been crying due to how pink her eyes where and right away I felt horrible for what I put her through may I said breaking the silence my heart stopped when I saw more tears come down her face.

walking over to my bed why am I a idot I asked because you didn't even try to make it out the door you just stood there accepting your fate why didn't you fight may screamed while hitting me stop stop melindia I yelled grabbing both of her hands why didn't you right back may said come here I whispered moving over so may had some room to join me on the hospital bed you such a dork your lucky I love you said may climbing into the bed careful of my injuries may snuggled into the right side of my chest your so warm may whispered looking into my eyes that's nothing new every time you where cold in the middle school you would search for me and once you found me you would never let me go until you where warm enough it's no wonder why everyone thought we were dating I said with a chuckle.

Yeah that was fun fooling people in to thinking we were dating but lance you know I love you as a friend a brother right said may yeah I know I could never love you as a mate I simply love you as the younger sibling I never had Melinda there's nothing I wouldn't do for you even if it meant dying I said may looked at me touched and angry at the same time I don't want you going out as a hero lance I want you around for a long time hunter I know you believe the world would be a better place without you due to the emotional abuse your father put you thought after your mother died but listen to me when I tell you this if you die apart of me will die with you I don't think you realize how important you are to me you where my rock when my dad died and in return I was there for you when your mom died your more than my parenter your my best friend so please don't leave me said may tears coming down pulling may closer to me I pressed a kiss to her head I can't promise that may not with or lives but I can promise I won't leave you without a fight I said thanks all I ask said may before falling asleep in my arms and soon I also feel asleep.

Steve's point of view:

After Bobbi told us hunter was awake may jumped out of my arms to go see hunter a part of me was a little jealous about hunter and may relationship but at the same time respected it there are times when may and I would be on mission and may would have a nightmare I tried to comfort her but she only wanted one person hunter I never asked why but now I'm curious.

I'll be right back I told everyone before walking into hunters room to see a very cute sense between may and hunter they where both fasted asleep all cuddled together it was very nice to see may showing her emotions every once in a while.

You know most guys that would see there girlfriends in another guy's arms would try and kill me said hunter making me jump I didn't even know he was awake I'm not that kind of guy I said steve you know there's nothing going on between me and may right asked hunter looking worried yeah I know I just don't know how the two of you became so close I said sitting down in a chair next to the bed.

We meet in middle school our teacher had wanted to see our fighting skills so here I was thinking I could take down this little girl boy was I proven wrong she easily kicked my butt I know its weird but that's how we became best friends said hunter I don't think that's strange I think it's cute I said with a smile don't let may hear you say that said hunter with a smile of his own I heard what you did for skye today so thank you I said its nothing I had a promise to keep said hunter.

Standing up I should let you get some rest I'm sure I'll see you around I said giving hunter one more smile before leaving the room I knew without a doubt skye and may where in good hands with hunter.
