Bubblegum didn't know how to respond. Vampire queen? Who has even heard of such a thing? Since it had been several minutes and Bubblegum has yet to respond, Marceline decides she must.
"So, I already know you're a princess. It's kinda obvious, what with the crown and castle and everything. But exactly who are you?" Bubblegum responded with a muffled retort that Marceline could barely understand even with her highly trained vampire ears. She released her hand from Bubblegum's mouth.
"I am Princess Bubblegum of the Candy Kingdom." She said again, straightening her posture.
"Oh, so you're the candy land ruler! Sorry for barging in and all, but I just needed a place to hide. I can't make it back to my place at the moment and I saw this place and though, 'Hey! I could stay at that joint.' "
"You needed a place to hide, so you went with a big, lit up palace? Very thought out."
"Yeah, well, they wouldn't think to look here! I mean this place is practically overflowing with policemen- er, banana guards. So can I crash here?"
"I don't see that as a very good idea."
"Well, why not?"
"Considering the circumstances of your obnoxious and criminal break-in, I-"
"I apologized for that!"
"Please do not interrupt me."
"Okay, listen, just one night. One! They'll be gone by morning." Bubblegum thought this through, and hesitantly agreed.
"One night! I will call in my butler to escort you to your guest room."
"Thanks, Bubs." Marceline grinned.
"Do not call me that."
"Fine, then what should I call you?"
"...My friends call me Bonnibel."
"Okay, Bonnibel. How about Bonnie?"
"I do not-"
"Good, it's settled. G'night, Bonnie. I'll not see ya ever again." And with that, Marceline was escorted to her room after Bubblegum called Peppermint Butler.
