Raven POV

"Can anyone name a barrier method ?", Ms. Preylo asked.

"Spermicide.", I said.

"And what does spermicide do ?"

"Kills and immobilizes the sperm from entering the uterus."

"Good job Raven."

She moved on to explain the lesson more as I continued taking notes.

I could hear the snickering come from a couple of childish girls in the back.

"What's so humorous ?", Ms. Preylo asked, "I want to laugh on the joke, Ms. Farah."

Heads turned towards Farah as if she said something unbearable.

Farah is twenty going on two. She needs to come to realization that she is not going to make it too far in life with that behavior.

Maybe yet, graduate.

"Maybe it'd be less humorous if you'd finally know an answer in this class. You laugh more then you learn.", Ms. Preylo stated, "Take some notes from Raven."

"What ? It's not like she doesn't know them anyways. If I'm not mistaken, didn't she already have a child ?"

I snapped my head towards her before opening my mouth to let out the most nastiest venom.

But I couldn't say anything. Instead, my throat swelled up and I could feel the hot tears rushing to my face.

I turned myself back around before grabbing my stuff and storming out the room.

"Raven ! Aye Raven !"

I felt a sudden grasp on my wrist and I looked to see it was Trevor.

"What do you want ?"

"I wanted to check on you."

"Well, you checked."

I put my hand on top of his, before taking my wrist out his grasp.

"You know how Farah is-"

"No I don't. How could you stand in my face to defend someone like that ?"

"I'm not defending her."

"Well it sounds like it."

"Raven-"

"It's what ever. I need to go before I spazz, bye Trevor."

I walked away down the hall and towards the double doors. I jogged down the steps and walked towards my car.

I got inside and closed the door before letting letting go my hard exterior and breaking down.

My forehead rested on top of the steering wheel as I tucked my hands into my lap.

"I'm so damn frustrated.", I said aloud.
