After a long pause twilight was the first to speak.
"So... Who's your friend Fluttershy?" She asked hesitantly.
"Oh, right." Fluttershy started. "This is Hope Shadow, she sort of flew out of the sky into the forest this morning and I decided to go help. She helped me and Rarity with her sale today, she's really good at sewing."
I did a double take.
"Wait, I fell out of the sky?"
"Well yes. Although I thought you knew why you were up there, and would tell me later."
I blinked.
"All I remember is a flash, then waking up in Equestria. That's it."
The ponies nodded and Fluttershy asked, "so why are you at the hospital?"
"Rainbow Dash decided it was a good idea to fly around in dragon territory." Applejack explained.
I started to laugh.
"Since when was going into dragon territory a 'good' idea?!"
Eventually the others joined in the laughing, and a doctor came out to stop us.
"Rainbow Dash will be fine, but I suggest you try to eliminate the stupidity that wound her up with charred feathers in the first place." The stallion said plainly as he shoved an angry Dash out on a wheelchair.
"Did he just call me stupid?!" She screamed.
She looked up to meet her friends gazes but froze when I came into view.
Seriously these ponies have issues!
But Rainbow shrugged it off and just asked who I was, and Fluttershy repeated her earlier introduction for me.
"Hope Shadow huh? Cool name. The names don't really go together but I like it." Dash stated as she looked me up and down.
"Sorry for asking, but what exactly are you?"
Twilight and Applejack looked to me with the same question lingering in their minds.
"Haven't got a clue." I said bluntly.
Twilight got a look in her eyes that made me squirm and I knew what she was thinking.
"Can I help you find out?!" She screamed as she tried to reach my face but failed due to my height.
I nodded, knowing I was going to regret it and Twilight dragged me back to her castle.
---------------------------------------
Once there Twilight sat me down in what I guessed was a study of sorts and she started grabbing books from her shelves.
I liked reading myself, but I liked fiction, not informational books.
Twilight plopped a book in front of me reading, "Hybrids" and asked, "do you think your a hybrid of sorts?"
"I have theory's"
"Like what!? I mean, I know you look like part pony, but what do you think the other part is?!"
"Two, other parts, actually."
Twilight lifted an eyebrow, which made her look insane.
I sigh.
"I believe- no, I know that one part is ghost-"
"Whyisthat?!"
I spoke through my teeth. "Because of my powers."
Twilight tilted her head and I swear she made a dog noise.
"I have powers which lead me to believe I'm part ghost. But the other part, you likely won't believe."
Twilight just stared.
My face changed from annoyed to dead serious as I said one word that made the princess jump.
"Human"
"WHAT?!"
I nod.
"But how in Equestria did you know what a human was to make that assumption?!"
I didn't want to tell her I was from another dimension, because she would assume I was from Canterlot High and wouldn't listen when I told her I wasn't.
So I used my powers as an excuse.
"Well I didn't think so till now, one of my powers is to read ones personality and how it developed." I start.
"Part of your personal development was through going to another world with humans, right?"
Twilight nods, unable to speak.
"So upon seeing what these humans looked like from images in your mind, I I recognized the figure of their hands and torso to be similar to my own."
Twilight stared at me still.
I decided to see if she was still in there.
I grabbed a book off of the desk and shoved it into her face.
"You wanna read to process things?"
She shook her head and stood up to meet my eyes.
"So you're saying you have powers? Which you used to read my mind to find you might be part human?" She was still shocked.
Maybe I should've stuck with saying I was a messed up centaur.
"Yup, though it was more of reading your history, not your mind."
"What other powers do you have?" Twilight asked getting into my face.
"I can phase through most solid objects, except for roses and iron which I learned the hard way, I can become invisible, I can shoot fire blasts from my hands, I can freeze things, I can change my vision so that a ponys appearance reflects their thoughts and, more commonly, personality, I can see how that personality came to be, and I can levitate things."
Twilight literally took every thing I said to note.
"Why can't you go through iron or roses?"
"It's a ghost thing, the type of roses I can't phase through, or even touch, are blood red and black colors. The iron bit I just can't phase through but won't hurt me."
"So red and black roses can hurt you?"
"Yup"
"What do you mean by "I learned that the hard way""
"Once I tried phasing through an iron tray that someone threw at me in a food fight at school, but it hit my face anyway. And as for the roses, some random creep threw those at me and I felt like I was being electrocuted. I'd have been knocked out for a longer time had my friends not found me shaking on the ground, unable to even move."
"Really?"
"Yup."
"Who was the creep?"
"Don't know, don't even know how to care."
"Huh?"
"Come on, it's not like he did it more than once or anything. Heck! I don't even think he knew they hit me!"
"Still."
"No argument Twi."
"Fine."
I decided to let Twi know something that had been bugging me for nearly this whole conversation and decided to let it out in the best of ways.
"So Pinkie, do you have any questions?" I asked after hiding my now glowing gold eyes behind red and blue bangs, letting loose my best evil laugh.
Pinkie dropped down and started braiding my "Rapunzel hair" as my friends called it, and blurted out, "nope!"
I hear Twilight scream in surprise with s thud and me and Pinkie share a bro hoof.
