It felt like hours after the dispute with Ichimatsu. Although, it had only been thirty minutes. Karamatsu was able to stand upright and he had nibbled on a slice of bread. It wasn't much, but it helped to settle his stomach.
Looking at the clock he sighed. It really was afternoon, and Karamatsu had wasted most of the day. There wasn't much he could do now. The house was off limits, it would probably be best to avoid Ichimatsu.
A shiver ran down his spine at the thought of his brother's glare. He laughed softly to himself. Never did he think he would actually be scared of his brother.
"Maybe I should talk with him..." Karamatsu muttered, glancing down at his hands. They were shaking roughly. No, he would have to wait until he calmed down.
A slight buzz from upstairs brought him back from his thoughts. Was that a phone going off? Not even a minute passed and Ichimatsu was walking downstairs, Karamatsu's phone in his hand.
"Hey, Totty's call-" Ichimatsu stopped himself. The malice in his voice fading into concern.
In front of him stood a shaking Karamatsu. The older brother's face was dripping in sweat and his cheeks had turned an unhealthy red. His eyes were half lidded from exhaustion and dark bags were obvious underneath them.
"Oh, thank you, dear brother." Karamatsu chuckled halfheartedly and reached for his phone.
Ichimatsu pulled it away, his eyes wide with worry. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" He breathed, almost afraid to hear an answer.
Karamatsu shook his head, instantly regretting the decision. His brain felt like a rock inside his head and the movement caused his stomach to churn.
There it went. The dark blue vomit spewing across the kitchen floor and splattering onto both male's feet.
Both brothers stood is silence. One in pure disbelief of what was happening and the other in tears.
"What the fuck...?" Ichimatsu whispered, he placed his brother's phone on the counter, safe from any excess puke.
Karamatsu hugged himself tightly. He just wanted to hide, or better yet, die. He couldn't focus on anything other than the warm chunky fluids. He fell to his knees with a loud thud.
"Hey! Don't pass out on me!" Ichimatsu shouted, stepping over to his brother and picking him up. He was lighter than usual. Had the idiot not been eating?!
The younger brother held Karamatsu close, shaking him gently. He wiped away at his face, ridding it of the oddly colored vomit.
"What's going on?" He asked, the fear becoming all too obvious.
Karamatsu shrugged his shoulders, pulling away. "I don't know..." He mumbled, tugging at his shirt. He was sweating bullets and each one soaked into the fabric.
Ichimatsu took note of what his brother was doing and stripped him of his clothing. "Go lay on the couch, I'll clean this up." He ordered, tossing the clothes aside.
Karamatsu nodded. He didn't have enough energy to argue.
Taking in a deep breath, Ichimatsu began the chore. Wiping up the barf with a few paper towels and spraying the air with some air freshener, it was a job done well enough. He collected up the clothes and phone, tossing the clothing into the laundry room. He slipped off his own hoodie, throwing it in too.
Ichimatsu walked into the bedroom, almost surprised to see his brother laying down. He was still sweating, but he had stopped shaking.
Karamatsu took in a deep breath and tensed. He was ready to hear a whole slew of swears and vulgar sayings. Instead, he received a hand petting his hair.
"Can you tell me what that was...?" Ichimatsu asked. He figured he wouldn't get the truth, but he had to try. I mean, he had just told his brother to burn in hell for being sick. He shook his head, forcing the tears in his eyes to disappear.
Karamatsu opened his mouth, testing how dry it was. It felt sticky and burned, but he spoke anyway. "I... Uhm well... I've been feeling sick... Lately." He drew in a breath, sighing out his next few words. "Yesterday I threw up..."
Ichimatsu nodded, listening carefully. He continued petting Kara's hair, hoping it was helping him to relax. "Was it blue... Like just now?" He questioned.
Karamatsu sat still for a moment, finally deciding to nod his head. "Y-yeah..." He mumbled. He looked up at Ichimatsu. His little brother looked so much larger than him.
"Can... Can you not tell the others?" Karamatsu asked, barely loud enough to be heard.
Ichimatsu blinked, tilting his head he opened his mouth. "Why shouldn't I? This is pretty important..."
Karamatsu shook his head. "No... It really isn't, I'm sure it will pass pretty soon." He chuckled, giving off a warm smile.
Silence settled upon the room. Nothing else was said as Ichimatsu pulled his brother into a hug. Karamatsu hugged back, but much lighter.
His stomach felt empty now, but it didn't growl. The burning feeling in his throat had subsided and he could feel his body begin to cool. He felt awkward being held like this, but he felt safe.
He smiled, not being able to control his sobbing. Ichimatsu didn't mind as he rocked his older brother back and forth. He had even pulled him into his lap.
They sat there for nearly an hour. Just relaxing and enjoying the affection.
