Elle,
They say a human who loses a body part, always gets this jolt. Where they forget that they lost that part and the brain gives them this quick painful reminder that it's missing. That's how it feels sometimes. All the time. Because sometimes I wake up or I think of something and I get this extreme sense of déjà-vu where I think I need to talk to Elle about this. But then I get this painful jolt that reminds me that you're gone. That I can't talk to you. Except it doesn't hurt in just one place, it hurts everywhere. I hurt everywhere.
