Thunder growls loudly as gunshots rip through the air.The storm draws nearer and nearer and making the outside world darker and darker.Today is the perfect day to die.But for me.Dashing around the classroom in the opposite direction of Sacon's firing range,I race to tackle him.Unfortunately for me Sacon was a football Jockey.Famous for his tackles and strength.
Fuck.
I grind my teeth as he pins me down,putting the cold gun barrel to my forehead.
Like I said,today is the perfect day to die.But not for me.
Something knocks into Sacon,sending him sprawling.Whoever it was landed on me.I grunt in surprise.
"Sorry."I hear Dukes voice.My face reddens.Sacon stands and points the gun at Duke.Growling I get to my feet.
"Dammit Sacon just leave us alone!"I snarl,baring my teeth.
"Give me the money-" Someone whacks Sacon over the head with a fire extinguisher.Sacon goes down with a thud.
"Loki,Jace!!" Duke smiles and we run over to put them into a tight bear hug.Meanwhile the whole rest of the class cowers in the far corner of the room.
"How can I ever thank you guys??" I chirp.
"Weell-" Jason taps his cheek.I raise an eyebrow.
"In your dreams,dreamer boy." I grin and Jace looks disappointed.I laugh.Looking about I notice Sacon twitching.I walk over to him,stomp my foot onto his wrist and grab the gun from his hand.Just then th cops walk in.
"Put the gun down!!" They shine the light about the room and the light lands in me and the gun in my hands.
"Oh......Shit..."My eyes grow wide.
"She didn't do anything!!!!" Loki speaks up.Duke grabs his phone out of his pocket and shows the cops something.He point to the gun in my hands then to Sacon.
"Can we have the gun Ms.-um.."
"Wulfe."
"Ms.Wulfe?"The cop Finnish's the question and I hand over the gun.
"Thank you Ms.Wulfe." The officer nods,"Now your friend over there says you have a note that you and the boy were passing back and forth?"
"Yeah..."I pull the note out from my back pocket and hand it to him.
"Thank you,now you five need to come with us." A serious tone enters his voice.
"Wha-" He winks at me,then I get it.I give a reassuring glance to the boys.
In the cop car.Officer Rut,told us why we were going down to the station.
"We need you to answer some questions." He's saying,a smirk appears across his face,"But to tell the truth,I thought that you guys would like to get out of there."
"Thanks!!!"I hate Mrs.Set,and,she hated me.
After we get to the station I get to hang with the boys for a bit.
"So where'd you guys come from?" I question,
"Demon academy." Says Duke.
"WHAT?!?!?!" I squeak in surprise.
"Yup we're demons and we're here to help protect you and your friends.We're your Guardians."
