"Hey wait up, man! Kyle called as he ran to catch up with his friends "Don't ditch me like that, I could get lost! It's my first year you know" he mumbled.
"Yeah, we know. We just didn't want to be seen with I guy picking Padisons Curse trying to lure some Unicorns from their magical castle" smirked Louis. He laughed and so did 3 other boys in their friendship group
"Quit it!" Kyle growled, a strong warning in his tone. "It was just a joke, mate!" Said Jacob once he finished laughing. "Yeah man, chill" Peter said. Kyle rolled his eyes and they continued walking. Kyle wasn't listening to their conversation, he was admiring the out back nature. He never knew what it was like. He lived in Melbourne and this was the first time he ever left Melbourne, not including the time when he was 1 and went down to Sydney.
They walked far and it was hard. Kyle's feet started to hurt from dodging the rocks and occasionally falling in a rabbit hole. He really wasn't the hiking type. He realised that had fallen behind and ran after his camping group. They had stopped and were setting up tents. "Are we staying here for 6 days..?" Kyle asked unenthusiasticly as he looked around. No stream, little trees, rocks everywhere, no grass, only dirt and pebbles and some black berry bushes. His friends laughed, "no! Of course not! We are just spending our first night here. We are heading that way," Jacob gestured his hand to point in the West direction. "Where is got a nice flowing river, tall trees and nice grassy ground."

Lacey howled a warning cry to the dingo pack. The alpha stood and grabbed his warriors.she watched them run into the bush. Lacey quickly made her way down the tree and grabbed her spear. She angled her spear and ran forward following the dingo pack through the dark, cool night.
Lacey found the pack crouched low in an attack position, ready to strike. Lacey crept up to the alpha male and peered through the bush. She saw a small fire why would you sleep next to a fire! They can grow and burn the whole territory! She thought. Stupid creatures! She signalled the alpha not to attack and she looked closer. She slowly walked forward. There were strange things all around the fire. She slowly walked to one and warily touched it. It felt soft, yet hard under her figures. She saw a cut through one side and slowly opened it. It was somewhat like a cave, she thought. She looked in, it was hard to see in the dim light. Lacey couldn't believe her eyes when she saw it.
It looked just like her.
She looked closer, it had hair on its head, wore coverings -way more then her though- and had the same structure as her. She quietly signalled for the alpha to come and he padded across. She pointed inside and he seemed just as amazed as her. He looked at her asking if to attack. She shook her head, and the alpha turned and led his pack away. She turned to follow but took one more look. She reached out and pulled a cover back, the creature was wearing more underneath. She walked into the cave like thing and looked down at the creatures. It looked just like her, not as skinny though and the one next to it was a lot less skinnier then her. She reached down to touch its face softly. She was fascinated. She moved her hand to its hair then, it opened it's eyes.

Kyle's eyes flew open as he slapped his face trying to kill a bug. He sat up with a jolt and looked around. He turned and saw a girl starring at him, shock and fear in her eyes. She had long, tangled brown hair, tanned skin, cuts along her arms and legs and wore a bikini of fur. She slowly backed away
"What the hell are you doing?!" He asked.
"Girls aren't aloud here and aren't you freezing?" She quickly hopped over him and ran through the tent entrance. He through his blankets away and ran after her. He stopped outside to see bushes rustling. He sprinted after her.
After realising he would never catch up to the girl he turned and tried to make his way back without getting lost. He got back and sat down near the fire. He saw paw prints side by side next to foot prints, it couldn't of been his cause they were to slim, plus he has socks on. He got onto his knees and examined the prints. He turned and looked in the direction the girl ran. He signed.
"Kyle?"
Kyle span around and was relived when he saw Jacob. "What, thought I was Slender?"
"Well," Kyle said. "You are tall, slim and love to take kids souls."
"Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny" Jacob said unamused. "Why up at..." He glanced at his watch. "2:30 AM?"
"Something woke me up, I heard noises and thought it was a dingo" Kyle said.
"Right. Well, I'd go back to sleep before Mr. Web-General, catches you up."
Kyle was gonna make a smart remark but just nodded and went back to his tent. He climbed under his sheets and sighed softly. He tried to sleep but could only think of that strange girl.
