~Friday~
Allie decided that it would be a good idea to have a sleepover even when I tried to deny it. After school I called my mom and told that her that Allie was spending the night and she said it was alright, in fact she even seemed excited that I actually had someone coming over, she always wanted me to be outgoing and have lots of friends.
On the way home Allie and me just talked the whole time."So Alex, how do you like school so far?"Allie asked.
"I actually like it, the classes are easy and I already learned most of it in my old school.". As I said, my school used to teach a year ahead, so everyone could really learn what they needed to for the future, four years is not a long time to learn everything.
So according to my new school, I should be a grade ahead of where I am but based on my age they wanted to keep me in my current classes so I would be graduating with the the kids in same age range as me. Keeping in mind, I barely talk to anyone so it really doesn't matter what age range I'm with. While I believe that is absolutely ridiculous ,I cant really tell them otherwise.
When Allie and me finally made it home, sighing and dreading this, I unlocked the door and stepped in, informing Allie that my mom prefers that we take our shoes off at the door and also hang our coats up on the rack by the door.
After doing all that I finally called out to my mom, "I'm home with Allie!"
" Welcome home!" She said in a very excited tone while coming into the living room smiling.
"Hi, I'm Allie." Allie introduced herself to my mom with visible confidence.
"Hi Allie, I'm Lisa, Alex's mother its nice to meet you, I didn't think Alex would make any friends, I'm so excited to see she took interest in someone for once"My mom started babbling about how antisocial I am.
"You too."Allie responded while giggling about everything my mom just said about me. We all talked a bit over dinner, they mostly talked. They mentioned school a lot and my mom asked her about her likes and dislikes and she did the same to my mom, they have a lot in common.
After dinner, me and Allie helped my mom clean off the table and helped with dishes. Hugging my mom I thanked her for dinner and we headed upstairs to my room.
We talked a little about different subjects like music, school, likes, and dislikes. Laughing at childhood stores that we were telling each other, it was nice finally having someone to talk to. It's been so lonely, besides the eyes. A little after talking for awhile, Allie fell asleep but I couldn't.
Turning and feeling uneasy, I had this feeling someone was watching me. Eventually I got up from my bed and looked around.
After looking around for a bit without seeing anything I went to lay back down but as I went sit on the bed, I saw something in the corner so I stood back up and went over to the corner to see what it was.
When I got there I almost screamed. There was a man standing in the corner of my room starting at allie, he hadn't noticed me so I started to get closer and I noticed something, it wasn't just any man. I saw my ghost glaring at Allie from where he was. He still didn't see me coming because he was so focused on Allie.
Finally, to make him notice I was there, I stepped into his view and he turned to me almost flinching. When he saw me his glare turned into a blank face as he looked at me.
Without being able to talk I just started at him for awhile, he looks like he's my age. He doesn't look like he did the day on the lake. He looks alive, like I could just grab him. Eventually I was able to asked him a question.
"Who are you and why are you here?", I stared at him, waiting for him to answer.
He looked like he wanted to say something but then Allie started to stir a little. Suddenly his stare turned back to Allie quickly, his glare hardened and he disappeared, only to reappear next to the bed.
Allie started to whimper in her sleep. Cuts and bruises started to appeared on her arms.
"STOP NOW, LEAVE HER ALONE." I screamed at him. He turned to look at me and his face went blank again.
"I don't want you to get hurt." He said, then quickly disappeared again. I looked at Allie and noticed the cuts on her arms were gone and there was no trace of her being hurt at all, she didn't even wake up from that.
~The Next Morning~~Saturday
"UGH, why do I have a huge headache? And why do iI feel like I got kicked down the stairs?" Allie asked while eating her eggs and bacon.
When she said that I made me think back to my ghosts words, "I don't want you to get hurt." My curiosity started to peak, I had to know what he meant when he said he didn't want me to get hurt and why he was trying to protect me from everyone.
A little later Allie went home and I went up to my room. When I got there I felt like someone else was there. I looked around and noticed that the ghost boy was standing near my bed.
I walked up to him angrily and said in a stern voice, "Who are you? Whats your name?"
The boy looked at me with sad eyes and he said, "My name is Tyler, but I don't remember anything about myself except that"
Then he disappeared again. 'I wonder if why he doesn't remember anything' I thought before I decided to go to sleep.
While dozing off I swear I felt eyes on me, his eyes...
