Chapter 3~ Questions (Edited)

A few nights after Allie left I was starting to wonder more about why Tyler didn't want me to get hurt, and what he was protecting me from. Every night I know he is there watching me but I don't know what to do about it. I might just have to try to talk to him about what happened.

I went to school and met up with Allie. I asked her about that night but she said all she remembers is going to sleep and having a massive head ache when she woke up the next morning. She asked me why I asked but I just told her to forget about it.

~ Friday- After School~

I got home and went right up to my room. My mom had to work and so did my dad so I have enough time to ask him questions about what happened that night.

When I got to my room I immediately yelled,

"TYLER." Right after I yelled he showed himself.When he saw me he tilted his head in confusion.

"Yes?" He said in a small voice.

I jumped, not expecting him to show himself as soon as I called. I shook it off and looked at him.

"I have a few questions for you." I say as I just watch him.

"Ok" he said quickly and sat on my bed
So I sat next to him and turned my body to face him.

"Who and what are you protecting me from?" I asked as soon as I was facing him. He looked at me for a while and finally answered.

"I am protecting you from getting hurt." He slightly looked down.

"Who will hurt me?" I asked.

He looked me straight in the face and said,"Everyone including yourself if you are not careful who you trust, not everyone isn't who they say they are. Especially Allie. I will protect you until you are safe."

Still looking into his eyes I tried to think for a moment.

"What will Allie do to me? She is so nice I don't think she will do anything to me."

He shook his head at me

"That's what you think. You think Allie is a happy sweet girl. That is until you see the real her. Be careful Alex. I will be watching over you.

I promise."

With him saying that he disappeared, right when the doorbell went off. I went down stair to open the door to find Allie standing there looking happier then ever.

Then she asked,"Hey can I spend the night, my parents are having some problems."

"Of course ,come in." I said, not really feeling that she was fully telling the truth about her parents or not.

I wasn't sure if I made the right decision or not but I hope that when Tyler said that he would be watching over me,that he was for really going to help me if I got into trouble.When I turned to look at the stairs I was sure that he was standing there watching what happened.

I turned to Allie and noticed she wasn't smiling, but she was grinning which was really creepy if you ask me. Then she took something shiny out from behind her back. I noticed it was a knife and my eyes went wide. The next thing I did wasn't so smart. I ran which resulted in me getting pinned to the ground with a knife to my neck.

Then....

Sorry if the chapters are short. This is my first book and I am not good at having long chapters just yet.
