Perfect Proposal [Chorong X Jin]

Chapter 5

11:53 p.m.

A day before Christmas Day, isn't. It must be full of joy, but not for Park Family.

"Jimin-ah! When will you back? It almost midnight. " said Chanyeol on his phone. He looked outside the window.

"There is a huge line here. I don't think I'll home in time. " said Jimin, looked at his watch.

"Sunggyu hyung didn't arrived yet. Get on with him. " said Chanyeol. He ended the call immediately.

Jimin done buying foods for Christmas. He called Sunggyu but he didn't answer. He walked to Sunggyu's apartment.

"He's car is here. But he isn't. " said Jimin, carrying two big plastic bags of foods. He seeking at the parking lot.

Jimin went up to Sunggyu's apartment. He tried called him again but he didn't answer as well.

He rang the doorbell. No answer again. The door isn't fully closed. Jimin knew something not right happened. He rushed inside and noticed there's a pair of heels.

"Isn't Chorong noona is at home? " said Jimin himself. He looked at the heels. It isn't Chorong's and she's home.

Jimin stepped in and called Sunggyu a few times. He was heading to this bedroom which the door isn't fully closed too. He looked inside from the opened-space of the door.

He stepped backwards as he was surprised. A woman was with him, having a scandal with Sunggyu. Jimin accidently caused the door sounded. Sunggyu looked at the door and saw Jimin ran away.

Sunggyu was in drunk that time. He walked unstablely. He went to his car to chased Jimin that saw him with the woman just now.

The traffic didn't heavy that time. Even there wasn't any single vehicle on the road as today was Christmas and it was midnight. Jimin was going to cross the road. Yes, as I said just now, there wasn't any vehicle on the road. He ran across the road without any doubt.

What he didn't notice was Sunggyu was driving towards Jimin with car's lights switched off. He just count on the road lights.

Jimin thought Sunggyu lost him. He was exhausted from running and started walking from there. He had ran very far from the apartment.

As he crossed the road, Sunggyu droved towards him furiously and it was caused an accident. A man-made accident. He flew about 5 feets from the car. Jimin was soaked in blood. His head was about to crack. *sorry for ChimChim's fans 😁**90° bow..*

Sunggyu went out from his car. His walk was heavy as he had made a crime. Slowly approaching Jimin.

He looked at the body. Horror. He returned to his car and drove away from the crime scene.

Chorong sure that was her imagination. But, why did she dreaming about him? It's happened 2 years ago. I repeat, 2 YEARS AGO. Chorong was curious about that. Although she had forgotten about Jimin. It must be something that she didn't know about the accident.

"Just forget about it! " Chorong covered herself in blanket.

The next morning, she went to her office. It's time to save Jin's show. She's promised him and will keep her words. Chorong started to collect her points for the meeting.

The meeting was over and Chorong was exhausted. She went to grab coffee and met Jin.

"Oh? Ms Park, did the meeting going well? " asked Jin. He walked to Chorong that was entering the studio.

"Yes, and guess what. The show saved! " said Chorong, childish.

"Really?! So that mean, the restaurant..." Chorong nodded for Jin. "The restaurant too. " Chorong leaned by the cabinet.

"And we also can't use this studio for cooking class. The staffs would be so busy here. " said Chorong. She looked the whole space in the studio.

"Tonight, at my apartment. " said Chorong, stirring her coffee with her hand.

Jin just blinked. At HER apartment?

"Don't worry about Hyena. Just take her over. My brothers used to be there too. " said Chorong.

"I may be late so you just go ahead. I will tell my brothers that you will come. " said Chorong. She went off to office as she was busy.

Jin went to his restaurant which is need to reopen soon. His kitchen assistant, Ken was there too. Helping him out.

"Seokjin, can you believe in this? We will reopen this restaurant soon! " said Ken, excited.

"Keep you excitement down, we need to be fast as others weren't here. " said Jin.

Everything was very fast for them. It's feel like 5 minutes although it's was an hour.

"Jaehwan-ah, I have to pick up Hyena from her kindergarten. " Jin done arranged the chairs at the front and he's about to leave.

"Yah! You just got here an hour ago. You shouldn't leave. " muttered Ken.

"I'm sorry, but Hyena is my daughter. " Jin took off his apron and grabbed his blazer.

"You should have your marriage again. You can't just working while looking your daughter's doing. " said Ken again. Jin paused.

Marriage is not for him, okay! He was 'allergic' to it. And that thing doesn't came up in his mind. Jin shook his head and went for Hyena without wasting a single time. Jin would be like Oh please! Anything but not marriage!

"Seokjin, did you arrived yet? " asked Chorong through her phone.

"I just got home. I'll be there later. I bet you're not home yet, right? " said Jin while entering his apartment.

"Yup, go there without me. I bet I'll be a little bit late. My brothers are home. Just say you will cook for dinner. " said Chorong. She immediately hung up on him.

Jin went to Chorong's apartment nearby. And yes, Hyena was with him. He rang the doorbell.

Rocky went to open the door. As soon he opened the door, he looked at Jin's top to bottom. Who's he? Another Chorong's fan?

"Nugu--seyo? " asked Rocky, took his headphone off his ears.

"You're Chorong's brother, right? " asked Jin. Chanyeol went to the door as Rocky took so long for it.

"Who is it? " asked Chanyeol, walked to the door. Just like Rocky, he looked at Jin from top to bottom then blinked a few times.

"She told me to come here. She said she will be late a bit. " explained Jin. Chanyeol's phone received a message at the same moment.

"She just text me about it. 'Brilliant' sister. " Chanyeol rolled his eyes. They invited Jin and Hyena in.

Chanyeol expected that Jin had relationship with Chorong. He will keep his eyes on him. Just want to know, Chanyeol wasn't an easy guy.
