Perfect Proposal [Chorong X Jin]

Chapter 13

Chorong startled. She opened her eyes widenly. All of the sudden, an alarm that Jin set up rang. His cook already cooked. Jin let her go as he was in hurry. He get off from the table and continued his cooking.

"Don't do that again. Araseo? " Jin brightly advice. He looked behind as Chorong was there. Chorong bit her lips and nodded.

Jin made his action faster and he quickly served his dishes at front.

"Okay, I don't understand. What's your point? " Chorong asked him. All the dishes already in front of her.

"I bet you felt bad after you decided to end up with Sunggyu. So, I made this. Since you're a big eater. " Jin started making the situation up. He sat opposite her and sticked his elbows on the table.

Chorong didn't asked anything else and started tasting. A spoonful of it entered into Chorong's mouth. As soon as it entered, she gasped. The taste started amazed her.

"Seokjin-ah, what did you put in this thing? This is ridiculous! " Chorong amazed as Jin formed a smile. They did have fun that night. Just like it never be forgotten. After a long conversation, they didn't noticed that the time almost reached 00:00.

"It's almost midnight. I better get going. " Chorong excused. She got up and took her bag.

"Of course, then. I'll see you tomorrow. " Jin stood up and walked her out.

Chorong went out from the restaurant. She looked around as there was nothing on the road. Suddenly, she saw something ridiculous. Jimin? Again? Chorong slowly approached him. Her heart kept asking is that really him.

Jimin was pointing to the road and started running. Chorong guessed that he want her to follow him. Chorong ran into her car and chased his back.

A few minutes of driving, Jimin stopped and gone. Chorong felt goosebumps from her head to legs. She blinked unbelievablely.

"Isn't this is Sunggyu's apartment? " Chorong faced her left.

"It's just my imagination. Ghost doesn't exist. " Chorong mumbled and drove away from there.

It's very early in the morning. The sun started to rise. A man was standing by a river under a bridge. Holding a phone on his hand and reading something.

Park Chorong decided to end up with actor, Kim Sunggyu on the latest press conference.

Yeah, that's Sunggyu. Reading the statement. He grasped his phone hardly and clenched his teeth. He dropped his chin and shed some tears.

He played his finger on the screen to contact somebody. He put his phone to his ear immediately.

"Yeoboseyo? Sunghee-ssi. "

"Yeah, I'm there now. "

"Have you damage everything? "

"Okay, then. I'll see you at Seoul. "

Sunggyu turned to his car and drove away to Seoul. He parked at the basement parking lot at his apartment building. He went up into his apartment and saw reporters camping in front of his apartment.

As soon as he stepped out from the elevator, everyone rushed on him. Asking a numerous questions. He tried to make a path to his apartment.

"Those busybodies. " Sunggyu slammed the front door. He tangled his hair and jumped onto his couch. He rested his head on a pillow.

He grabbed his phone and called Chorong. As soon as he called, she instantly picked it up.

"Sunggyu-ssi? Is that you? Can this be really you? " asked Chorong. Sunggyu chuckled silently.

"Yah! Say something! I know you're there. " Chorong raised her voice softly.

"Fine, if you did so, just listen to me. I'm doing fine here. You've gone almost two weeks, so I did missed you. Everyone were asking me where are you. I even didn't know and that made me felt bad. " Chorong sounded like in tears. Sunggyu got up from his lying.

"I've cancelled our wedding plan in Paris. I'm very worried of you. When will back? You really don't care of me. Am I did wrong or something? " asked Chorong. She silenced a moment.

"Hang in there. It will end sooner than you thought. " Sunggyu started his words while Chorong shed her happy tears.

"You really going to be okay? " Chorong sobbed. Sunggyu answered with a yes.

"Let's meet then. I bet you wanted to. " Sunggyu stood up and went to the window. "Geurae, let's meet somewhere around. " Chorong ended the call immediately.

"He's back.. "

Chorong put on her coat and went out from her apartment. She promised Sunggyu to meet him around her apartment. She closed the door and her phone rang. She grabbed it and answered it.

"Chorong-ah, I'm here. Where are you? " asked Sunggyu. His hands loyal to hold two cup of coffees. His legs kept shaking as it was freezing outside.

"I'm on my way to downstairs. " said Chorong. She headed to the elevator and tapped it. She brightly smile and her face totally looked fresh. She hung up on him and got into the elevator.

She stepped out from the building and looked around. There are small amount of people and it's looked very quiet. She walked around hopping on finding Sunggyu. She did saw someone at a bench surrounded by some bushes. She immediately ran to it.

"Gyu-ssi! " he reacted to the call by faced his right. He automatically sttod up right after he heard that.

"Chorong-ah, you're here. Here. " Sunggyu greeted her by giving her a cup of coffee that he bought just now.

"How you're doing? " asked Chorong. Sunggyu didn't expected this from her. She acted weirdly, he guess.

Sunggyu nodded. "As well as you. " . The awkward silence happened. Sunggyu bit his lips while Chorong suddenly dropped her chin.

"You left me for a week there, didn't you? Waeyo? " Chorong asked. She blinked a few times as she almost she'd some tears again.

"I had -- "

"No, don't tell me. It might make me angry with you. In fact, everyone do have their own business. " Chorong cutted. She formed a smile to Sunggyu that made him felt bad.

"Geurae, I won't tell. But, are you serious about the decision? " Sunggyu sipped his coffee. Chorong sighed on her forward.

"I was flustered and I hadn't thought before making the decision. The question made me felt guilty. So, I didn't meant it. " Chorong explained. She delved into her coat for nothing as it was freezing.

"That's mean, we're good? " Sunggyu hoping for a positive answer. He threw a smile on her.

Chorong nodded. "We're good. " shortly she answered.

"Chorong-ah, I didn't meant to leave you there. I'm very sorry. " Sunggyu begged for an apology.

"Let's not talk about that. " Chorong designed a smile.
