Aurora was amazing I had to say that. She's smart by just the way she speaks and as she say mistake she'll place her pointer in her mouth and smile and say sorry. Something in her makes me feel that she might be useful and she'll play a big paper in my life.
At this moment, from interview to a friend talk talking about politics, sports, games and all those sort of stuffs..I soon realized, I need a new secretary.
I know that I'll make the right decision for this, so, I was kinda thinking that Jestine herself, could be it. She's brilliant and all anyway.
So, after that little big incident, it was a big talk at school. Students, bullies, gothics, nerds, the cool kids, even the teacher laughed at the incident. And from that day forward, I don't even know where I belong to. Whenever I raised my hand to answer or pee, they always yell, Butt punch Kellein. The yeller laughed, the students laughed, the teachers laugh, and I die from the inside.
So, one time, I went to a CR stall and cried.
Butt punch Kellein! Butt punch Kellein!
Butt punch Kellein! Butt punch Kellein! It was stuck in my head over and over and over again like some eerie whispers of ghosts. I came out only to attend the flag ceremony. I was still weeping when a girl, a new girl, bumped my shoulder. She was in a hurry. She glanced at my direction just to say sorry.
The girl had a violet hair, white skin, and blue eyed. She's not beautiful, but pretty or adorable. Mixed with beauty and cuteness.
She seemed to be fraustrated. The time she reached the stairs where you can visibly see the court where the ceremony was held, she slide down her hair from her forehead to her ear and breathed deeply and closed her eyes.
"Oh shit! Oh shit! Oh shit!" She said. I approached her slowly like some wild animal. She looked at me and I almost felt sorry.
"You okay?" I asked shyly.
"No." She said plainly. "Being late at school is not a very good first impression."
"Aint that the fact."Whoever she is, she was in a panic. The ceremony had started and to me she is like this type of a girl who never wants to be late. This situation looks pretty normal to me. Being late or no attending that shitty ceremony, I already get used to it since the incident.
She was in tears which looked weird to me since girls like her are not usual to my eyes, or any eyes in this school. I wrapped my arm around here and patted her back as comfort.
Luckily, she got over it very quick. The ceremony was still on going but her eyes were still stuck on the on going event.
"C'mon, I know a place to get over this shit up." I grabbed her hand lead her to the roof. The humiliating happening was still in my head as I see the damaged roof.
"What happend here?" She asked. The wind came by and blew her hair and as she licks her lip, I was inlove. I reached out my hand and properly introduced my self.
"I'm Kellein Ivanson."
"Violet Oxpen."~END OF FLASHBACK~
Aurora reminds me alot about Violet. The way she is known for her pactuality and her jolly personality. It has been one week since she was employed, the amazing part is, she helped me on the Black Friday now I got 102 employed black people in my empire and that's a progress. The door creaked open as I see mother standing by the opened door.
"The hero of the unemployed." Mom teased as I walked towards her and gave her a hug. My mother, Jocelyn Marse Ivanson, comes often whenever she had a free time even though everday is her free time. The day I was the big boss of my own company it was my turn to take care of mom to take back those years when I was just a kid. Now, she can be lazy at home read old books or listen to The Carpenters all day long.
"As far as I can see, you are doing just fine. Those black people you employed last week now shares a huge smiles and joyful laughters with the white." Mom started.
"Well to strengthen an empire, you must first strengthen your soldiers first." I replied and poured her cup a wine.
"And what strength are you referring to my boy?" My mom raised an eyebrow and drank her wine.
"It's strengths my dear mother. Loyalty, morale, salary and all that."
"And how do you do that?" Mom asked again.
"If you have a hundred of employers the first thing you must do is that make sure they have a good time inside your company. A big boss' life can be hard yes. If you see an employee in need of money dont think twice and loan them some or if you see one who is down ask what is happening and give your best advices and most of all, greet them kindly with a smile and learn to control your temper when they did something bad."Mom smiled and a tear began to slid down her cheeks as she wipes it out with her hankie.
"I'm so proud of you. You took care of this company by yourself without my advice. I raised you perfectly my son. You got better than me." She said as she kisses my forehead. "Now, back to the matters at hand, I came here to tell you something."
"What is it mother?"
"It's about Violet Oxpen." The name rang in my eardrum like a flashbang grenade. I haven't seen Violet in 6 years and ever since we parted and said our goodbyes, we had no communications. With that, it feels like she was just like a highschool gloomy emotion or an illusion of my loneliness.
"What about her?" I finally asked.
"She came by the house awhile ago and asked where you were. I told her that you were at the office and I told her that she could come but--" I cut mom off her sentence and clenched my fist.
"She had other things to do. I know. It's always her excuse." I replied and sat in my sofa with a cold sweat, I can feel like I was about to loose some air.
"But that wasn't an excuse Kellein. She is to meet with Kaleb Price. And asked me to give you this." Mom reached out an envelope and placed it on my table.
"Violet doesn't know what you look like now. You changed alot Kellein not just the look but the personality too." I clenched my fist and fought off the tear that was about to come out of my eyes.
"I know what happend between you and her. That was day when she--"A knock on my door interrupted.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"It's Aurora sir." She replied. Mom looked at me with a questioning look. But I just smiled amd ignored it.
"Come in." Mom said for me.
As she opened the door, Aurora wore her short formal mintgreen skirt, and a long sleeved white polo. Mother looked happy to see her and placed both of her hands on Aurora's cheek.
"My my aren't you a pretty one." Mother admired.
"Mom, that's Aurora Jestine Howen. Aurora this is my mother Jocelyn." I introduced and both of them shook hands.
"Well I should probably get going. Your father asked me to be his partner on the Senior Citenzen's ballroom." The moment mother walked out and closed the door, Aurora smiled with a mix of an intimidated feeling.
"Your mother seemed....." she trailed off.
"She feels happy whenever she sees me with a pretty woman." I replied. "So, Aurora, why are you here?"
"Well you tasked me to handle your buisness phone but someone is trying to call you and wont stop calling I kept saying you were busy but she still insists on talking to you so--" I raised my palm to stop her from talking and asked who wad the caller and as she says maybe the she was....
"The caller was by the name of Violet Oxpen."
