I understand that he's an odd choice
But understand that it wasn't willing
I did not choose to fall in love
It just happened to me

His smile is the brightest
His smile is the warmest
And friendliest

Some say he talks too much;
I call it enthusiasm

Yet alone he has left me

To him I am an unimportant organism
Though I long for his touch

I daren't speak to him again, lest
I fuck it up and give my mind no rest
Even seeing his contact is a test

His caring lover, all I wished to be
To protect him from being one to shove
Although I act fine, inside it's killing
Even when all I do is hear his voice

I love that boy to death
To the point he's the only reason I'm alive
