"On your first day of school, Victoria, really?"

Victoria sighed, sliding under her duvet. She looked down at her laptop screen to see Oliver, Zephyr and Archer all staring at her, like three disappointed big brothers. The sight of them almost made her smile, but she knew that they will get even more frustrated if she did.

"It was nothing. I just saved a boy from getting bullied" she replied, making herself comfortable on the bed.

"Yes, but he was bullied by Isaac. The Isaac Ronan. We're talking about that creepy guy with serious mental issues" Oliver said, frustratingly.

This was why he was reluctant to let her go in the first place.

"We have mental issues, Oliver" Victoria smirked in amusement.

"Sure, but that guy is crazy, fam, can't you see it in his eyes?" Oliver answered before running his fingers through his hair.

Victoria can see it in his eyes. He was not crazy. He was something else. Something that she could not put her mind into- something undefined. He was undeniably beautiful with an undeniably dark mind, but there was something about him that made her fear him. It took everything in her to let go of her fear because she knew that the only way to face him was by getting rid of her irrational fear. She has been in this business for longer than she could even remember and she was never afraid of her clients. She wasn't afraid of serial killers, mobsters- but when her eyes first landed on him- she closed her eyes. She remembered how scared she was. She remembered how the hair on the back of her neck stood up and how her fingers and toes grew cold whenever he looked at her.

Something about him brings out dark thoughts from her mind and she couldn't figure out why.

"I knew I should've registered with you" Zephyr muttered under his breath "-I hated that guy"

"Why is he even in school anyway, how old is that son of a bitch?" Oliver asked, looking over at Archer who was now looking down at his laptop.

"He's nineteen"

"-and he's still in high school? Really, he's that stupid?" Zephyr asked, looking over at his twin brother.

"Actually, he was at the top of his class in his final year. Olympia offered to fund on his college education if he agreed to stay there and yes-" Archer answered even before Oliver could ask him the question "-Olympia offered college-level studies and provide world class professors for it too"

"There was a different building for it too, I think" Victoria said, trying to remember her walk with Chris.

She sighed when the thought of him reminded her that she will have to create a lie for him to believe that she was just a normal rich girl who just moved into his school without any ulterior motives.

"Alright guys, I gotta go. I have school tomorrow" Victoria smirked. She always wished to say that before, but never really got the chance because the teachers that her father hired to teach her would come whenever she asked them to, so she never really experienced an actual school life. She sighed and shut down her laptop.

In a different room, Isaac lay on his bed. His eyes staring up at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep. He gritted his teeth at that fact. Images of Victoria have been popping up into his mind since he watched her leave the lounge room without even a second glance at him.

He hated how he found it amusing that she looked at him with a blank face instead of fear written all over her face.

If only she knew what he has done before.
