"Oliver"

"Yeah?"

"How much do you want?"

Apparently that was enough to make Oliver paused the game and turned to look at Victoria who was blinking at the TV screen blankly. Even both Zephyr and Archer turned quiet after those words flew out of her mouth. They were in the game room- Oliver and Victoria both sprawled out on the carpeted floor while Zephyr and Archer were on the sofa, Zephyr chewing on a piece of Twizzler while Archer was focused on his laptop.

"Seriously, man, how many times do I have to tell you that you don't have to pay me to sleep with you. I ain't into that kind of shi-"

"I'm serious, Oliver"

He sighed and turned to face Victoria.

He loved her.

She was more of a sibling to him than his real sister was.

Oliver remembered the first time he laid his eyes on her. It was twelve years ago, but he felt like it was just yesterday when she saved him- when she took care of him. At that moment, they never know that they were both a part of a huge criminal organization- all they wanted was a friend. Someone to be there, someone to hold, and for him, she's that someone. He was beaten by five white kids who thought that someone like him, someone with a different skin color, someone with a different ethnicity, didn't deserve to be alive. He remembered how he had lost all hope at that time, lying on the ground- kicked, punched and peed on like he was just a garbage bag- a lifeless, dirt-coloured garbage bag.

She showed up.

He remembered how she glared at them with those pair of dark brown eyes of hers, as if she was challenging them to come to her. All the boys seemed taken aback, but eventually one of them did advanced towards her, but she was ready. In one swift motion, she kicked him on his crotch, sending him to the ground- the other kids sprinted away from her like they just saw a ghost.

She was his knight in shining armour.

"Listen, I've been doing research upon research for your projects and jobs for over two years now and I never asked you to pay me. What makes you think I want it now?" he asked, glancing at Archer who's currently eyeing them.

"I don't know" she answered truthfully "-I thought that maybe now that all of you have got your own projects to handle that I might have to pay you-"

"No" Oliver answered, shaking his head like she was being ridiculous.

"Look-" he continued with a sigh when Victoria didn't say anything "-remember what I've always told you? This whole business thing- it's our parents businesses. When it comes to the four of us- I don't know, man. It's almost impossible to treat y'all like clients when I've seen y'all naked before, you know what I mean?" Oliver said, looking over at the three of them.
