Chapter 5

Mari was holding on for dear life as Volpina lepted away with her, Chat in hot pursuit. "Put her down!" Chat yelled. "Never." Volpina replied as she made two copies of her and Mari and spun in circles with the fakes. Chat did not know which was the real ones, so he quickly did ennie minnie moe and went after the fakes. Volpina landed on top of a building with Mari. "W-why did you go through all that trouble?" Mari asked trying to be polite. 

"Well I saw you with Lila and thought we could be friends."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Why couldn't you just ask me like a normal person?"

"Because I thought it would be more special."

"Well, I guess that is a special. I also would like to be your friend AS long you don't try what you did with Ladybug and pretend that you were saving Paris when you just used an illusion." 

"FINE." Volpina sighed. "I better get you home, before Chat Noir realizes that it was a fake us." she said as she took Mari home.
