Hey guys,
This is a Percabeth one shot story!
*screams and jumps up and down with pom poms*
I'm going to alternate Percy and Annabeth's POV.
And another thing: not taking requests. If you want to request something, please see HoO Couples, my Heroes of Olympus one shot story.
Okay, onto Percabeth!

PERCY
My life got immediately better when I heard that Annabeth was staying in New York.
"Are you sure, Wise Girl?" I asked her for the one hundredth time as we were walking back from the beach - again. We had spent the morning there, Annabeth working on her new designs for Olympus and the new cabins, and I worked on my water control abilities.
Annabeth rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Of course, Percy. Haven't we already been through this? And weren't you there when Athena Iris-Messaged me?" She adjusted the blueprints in her arms.
"Yeah, but, you've haven't stayed for more than three months in New York, ever. It's exciting." I said, trying to suppress the grin on my face, but failing miserably.
"Exciting? You're sixteen, Percy. Having your best friend -"
"Girlfriend."
"What?" I shrugged.
"Girlfriend." I repeated, grinning. Annabeth looked at me like I said I was going to introduce her to the guy who designed the Parthenon - or better yet, that I was the one who designed the Parthenon.
Annabeth dropped her blueprints, threw her arms around my neck and kissed me. I placed my hands on her hips and kissed her back. My brain went a bit fuzzy, but after a while I could think straight and realised that as humans we needed to actually breath.
"Did you really mean that?" She whispered, millimetres from my face.
"Why are we whispering?" I blurted out and mentally face palmed. Way to ruin the moment, Jackson, I thought.
Annabeth rolled her eyes again again and stepped out of my grip.
You, Percy Jackson, are..." She trailed off, trying to think of a word. I fist pumped the air. Percy, 1, Annabeth, 0.
"Impossible?" I suggested, "Awesome? Good-looking?" I hinted.
Annabeth gaped at me, jaw open wide so I could see each of her white teeth.
"I didn't - that was ages ago - how did you know?" She spluttered. I grinned, knowing for once I had the advantage.
"Chiron." I said simply. Annabeth groaned and glared at the sky.
"Why does that stupid centaur know everything?" She said, bending down to pick up her blueprints. I squatted down to help you. Grabbing one, I quickly peeked at it. It was an amazing drawing of the Poseidon cabin, perfect down to every detail.
Every detail.
Crud.
Annabeth had even included the little things, the drool on my pillow, the dirty clothes half hanging out of my clothes hamper and - oh joy - the little heart carved by Riptide with 'A' and 'P' in it from last week when it was my birthday and I walked back to cabin in a daze.
Oh, holy gods, no. How did she even know that -
"Chiron." Annabeth said, straightening up so she was standing. Right, I thought, I said that out loud. I'm screwed.
"That stupid centaur," I groaned. Annabeth blushed a bit and then her eyes widened.
"What?" I asked, looking at her as she started laughing. She quickly covered her mouth her hand.
"Uh, Percy?" She said and she looked at something behind me. I sighed.
"He's behind me, isn't he?" I asked. Chiron snorted and stamped his feet.
"Yes, Perseus, I heard that whole episode." He said, his voice harsh but teasing at the same time.
I groaned as Annabeth bent over from laughing so hard.
"Oh, shut up," I grumbled. That only made her laugh harder.
Chiron smiled slightly as he flicked his tail.
"That includes you Miss Chase. You must have spent quite a lot of time in Mr Jackson's cabin to make such a detailed sketch. And due to our no-demigods-of-different-genders-in-a-cabin-alone policy, you couldn't have been in there while Percy was in there." Chiron said, raising his eyebrow.
Annabeth stopped laughing immediately. I love that centaur, I thought, Percy, 2, Annabeth 1.
"It's almost lunch, you two, so I suggest you get back to your separate cabins to get ready." Chiron winked, and then trotted off, pausing only to gently scold a younger camper for accidentally shooting another demigod in the foot.
Annabeth and I looked at each and started laughing again, as she wrapped an arm around my waist and I threw an arm around her shoulders.
"Okay, I have to admit, that was pretty funny." Annabeth said, gasping for breath after we finished laughing. Her hand gently touched the top of my jeans, and then brushed across the small of my back. The sensitive skin tingled and Annabeth looked up at me, blushing.
"Sorry," she said sheepishly. I grinned and grabbed her hand.
Instead of her soft skin touching mine, my fingers hit something metal. Some familiar, metal, thing...
I checked my back pocket, where I had gotten into a habit of putting Riptide, since the war was over. Unfortunately, things like that could get easily stolen.
Annabeth held Riptide between two fingers, smiling slightly at me, and took a step back.
"You do know its going to reappear in my pocket anyway, right?" I told her. She simply grinned.
"I thought I would give it a shot."
"You have five seconds to start running."
Annabeth bolted off, and I took those five seconds to watch her sprint towards the beach, and think about how lucky I was.
When I reached six, I thought about all the ways I could mentally murder her, and then chased after Annabeth, smiling the whole time.
