Never Gonna Lose You

"Petra, you love me don't you?"

She looks at him, his black hair swaying about as they sit on the edge of the rooftop. How could she deny Levi. His perfection shows no bounds. So she replies: "yes, Levi. I love you."

He looks at her, gazing with wonder into her eyes. His hand enters his pocket, and he pulls out a box. A black box, with the words "for the one I love" written on it. Petra looks at him, and he moves into a kneeling position. She can almost sense what's coming.

His eyes locking onto hers, Levi holds out the box, and opens it, revealing a ring. The crystal shining brightly as the moonlight reflects off of it from above. Her face brightens with a smile, and his does to. She peers at the ring, waiting for his voice to bless her ears, and it does. "Petra, will you marry me?"

Her eyes sparkle as she offers her hand out to him, only one exited word escaping her joyful body. This word, this beautiful word, the word "Yes!"

He slides the ring onto her finger, and she leaps into his arms. He holds her, resting her on his lap, and sitting down ready to watch the sunrise. She lays her head on his shoulder, listening for his heartbeat, and for once, she hears it.

A few hours pass, and the young couple remain in their positions, holding each other with their undying love. The flame of their joy fights on as the pain of the world tries to put it out. They help it with their kisses, and their every heartfelt interaction with one another.

They fall asleep, Petra cuddling Levi's body as if it was the softest thing shed ever held. Levi wrapping his arms around Petra, and holding her in her cute position. They sleep for an hour, until Oluo awakens them in the morning, calling them down for breakfast.

As they enter the dining hall, Oluo asks, "why weren't you in your room last night? Why were you on the rooftop?"

Levi wraps his arm around Petra's shoulders, resting it carefully on her delicate frame. He looks at her, signaling for her to show Oluo the ring. Obediently, she does, and Oluo stops in his tracks. The entire room watches as Oluo shouts,"You didn't!"

"I'm afraid I did." Levi exclaims, showing off his fiancée,"yes, we're now engaged."

The entire room silences, and Levi walks through with Petra. As they sit down, next to each other, the crowd starts to murmur about how cute they are together, and Oluo curses them, wishing it was him with Petra rather than Levi.

They look into each other's eyes, and Levi says to his love, "I'm never gonna lose you. No matter what happens, we'll keep shining on, together."

He leans in, and his lips meet hers. The entire room watches, admiring their love with the envy of knowing that they could never find a love stronger than that of Levi and Petra's.
