I made my way down the hall, the doors at the end of the hall that led to the outside world looked almost tempting. I turned the corner, and pushed on the doors. My nose was overwhelmed from perfumes, and hairsprays. The steam from the showers made a thick mist and made it impossible to see where I was going. I sped down the aisle, and got changed for class. I removed my converse, jeans, and my favorite galactic lion shirt. I felt insecure about my body, so I changed as quickly as possible. I tied my hair into a low ponytail, and walked out into the gym.
I saw a lot of guys, they didn't acknowledge my existence as they drooled over the preppy blonde girls.
I looked over a noticed a boy, it was the same boy I helped get to class, Xavier. I didn't know his last name, but I guess I'll know soon. The teacher came out, and told us to line up. I stood in the back, of course I did. I didn't want to be in the very front knowing people were laughing and snickering behind my back. Mr. Sauder called out my name. I just stood there, staring at the ground as usual. He doesn't like that I don't talk.
Twenty minutes into class, and Xavier is standing there doing nothing, just as confused as these dumb blonde bitches. Playing stupid doesn't get you anywhere besides pregnant. Half theses blondes in my school are.
After the 10 minute bell rang for us to get changed, Mr. Sauder told me to meet him after class for extra training. Since I didn't do jack shit the whole time besides staring at the floor, and occasionally looking at Xavier.
I changed back into my clothes and while everyone went to class, I met Mr. Sauder in his office. He shut the door, and told me to have a seat, I sat. Not daring to meet his gaze, he asked
"Ms. Bastille, do you know why I kept you after class?"
I stared at the paper weight in front of me a shrugged. He sighed and scratched the back of his balding head.
"It's because all the teachers here at Cedes High are worried about you. I'm worried about you.."
He stood from his chair, and walked behind me, he sighed a long, skin crawling sigh. I tensed up as he leaned down behind me and whispered,
"How about we hang out sometime? Buy you a drink and loosen you up a bit?..."
I shook my head and walked to the door. He then grabbed my arm and made me face him.
"LOOK AT ME WHEN IM TALKING TO YOU! YOU DON'T DISRESPECT ME LIKE THAT!" His hands traveled down the sides of my arms, and he smiled... I backed away from him, he closed in on me, and put his hands on either side of me, making it hard to make a quick getaway.
The door swung open, and in the doorway, anger and shock plastered on his face, was Xavier. Wasn't he a sight for sore eyes. He looked at me, then fixed his eyes on Mr. Sauder, he stepped in the room, and before I knew what had happened Mr. Sauder was flat on his back, with Xavier standing near him. He gently escorted me out, he looked at me from over his shoulder as he shut the door...
