Decisions

The door was really old. It had lots of cracks in it and the doorknob was chipped. The door was really pretty if you were to fix it up a bit. In fact the whole house was really pretty, it was just old.

I have always loved old building. They have a nice feeling to them. It's like they all have their very own story to tell. They have been through history and are here to tell the tale.

I carfully move my hand to open the door, knowing what had happened earlier, and my hand when right through.

'Stupid, I'm a ghost or something, I'm still not sure what I am, I can just walk through the door.' I thought to myself.

I walked through the door and the mood of the house felt weird. Evil almost. It sent a shiver down my spine, and I did not like it.

I looked around and it was really bare. No pictures. No decor. Nothing but a few pieces of furniture.

It was more sad than scary really. Now that I know the story behind the house and my Aunt's husband it was depressing.

The house itself felt sad and scared. All that it had seen and everything it knows. It didn't want to have all this negative energy in it.

I walk into the kitchen and I see a black cat.

My Aunt never told me she had a cat or any pets for that matter. So it really sacred me.

The cat turned around and it looked at me with it's piercing yellow eyes. It truly looked demonic.

The cat just turned around and started walking away, like nothing happened. Naturally I started following it. Once it saw me following it, the cat started to run.

I chased the cat throughout the whole  house. Following him, like nothing else in the world mattered. I watched his every move wondering what he was thinking, what he wanted to do.

Soon he turned a corner and then was gone. I looked all over for it but I couldn't find it. I when back to the spot it vanished and looked up. It was a big heavy metal door with a lot of locks on it. It looked like a door to a basement and at that moment I knew exactly where I had to go.
