All members of Girls Aloud were sitting around a table at a restrurant, celebrating Sarah and Kimberley's birthdays. They all tried to hide it but it was too obvious, no one at that moment was really feeling in the party mood. Sarah tried her best but as they all looked at eachother, they knew it was going to be a long night.
"Kimberley I'm so sorry" said Cheryl. Kimberley was kneeing on the floor infront of Cheryl with her hand in her hands.
"Why Cheryl? You know he isn't right for you... I can... I..." cried Kimberley. Cheryl had just told Kimberley she was getting back with Ashley. She decided it was for the best. She forgave him after he cheated and he wanted to get back with her. Cheryl wanted to give it another go too. She hated what she was doing to Kimberley though. There she was, crying her eyes out on the floor, heartbroken, when this time yesterday they were in her bed, in their bed, making love to eachother.
"He's my husband Kimberley. It's for the best. Please Kimberley, please understand" Cheryl was now kneeing down on the floor facing Kimberley. They were both crying. "I love you Kimberley, you know that, don't you?" Kimberley let out a little laugh and looked up at Cheryl.
"No Cheryl, I don't know that. If I did know that, you'd be lying" choked Kimberley. She stood herself up, losing her balance a little from feeling weak, but walked over to the door.
"Please Kimberley. I love you, I always have and I always will but... For fuck sake Kimberley, I'm married!" Cheryl cried, remaining on the floor.
"If you love me, you would be divorcing him right now" Kimberley had stopped crying and looked Cheryl in the eyes. Cheryl was taken back by the look Kimberley gave her... full of hate. "Get out" finished Kimberley, opening the door. Cheryl got up and walked over to Kimberley.
"Forever" mumbled Cheryl as she pulled off the locked from around her neck and placed it in Kimberley's hand then walked out the door. Kimberley closed the door and slid down it so she was now sitting on the floor with her back to the door. She looked at the locket in her hand, Cheryl always had the locket on but never thought to ask what was inside it. Kimberley opened the locket carefully and let out a sob when it showed a picture of Cheryl on one side and a picture of herself on the other.
After a few, well, many bottles of wine, all the girls started to relex a little and totally let go. Sarah and Nicola were up on the dance floor, dancing frightfully close to eachother but were having a good time and that's all that matters. All the girls knew about Cheryl and Kimberley's relationship, and they all knew how it ended and how tough it was for the both of them. Kimberley had taken Justin back just to try and get over Cheryl but it never worked. She put on a happy face whenever she was with him though, to show Cheryl she didn't need her and she could move on without her. Cheryl was always with Ashley, the happy couple. Only Nadine knew how hurt Cheryl really was and only Nadine knew Kimberley hadn't got over Cheryl.
Kimberley was laughing with Nadine watching Sarah and Nicola make fools of themselves, dancing around the floor, if you could call it dancing. While Kimberley was enjoying watching the show she couldn't help noticing at the corner of her eye there was someone looking at her. Cheryl. Kimberley knew Cheryl didn't know that she knew Cheryl was watching her so Kimberley held Cheryl's locket in her hand. Kimberley had put it on the day Cheryl gave it to her and hadn't taken it off since. At the corner of Kimberley's eye she saw Cheryl drop her head then top up her glass.
Cheryl watched at Nadine and Kimberley were sitting close to eachother, touching eachother. It was only in a friendly way but Cheryl couldn't help but get jealous. The anger was boiling up inside her so much that she immediatly felt like she needed to cry. Kimberley then suddenly kissed Nadine on the cheek and Cheryl snapped, it didn't go unnoticed by Kimberley and Nadine. Cheryl slammed her glass back down on the table and stood up and looked at Nadine.
"I'm going to dance" Cheryl simply said, holding her stare with Nadine longer than she should have. She just didn't want to look at Kimberley. She eventually did obviously, but it was quick and Cheryl just nodded to her before climbing round the table and onto the dance floor to join Sarah and Nicola.
