Amu's POV
"Hey, Amu!" Cried out my friend, Sienna. "Wanna hang out after school? I've discovered a new place downtown. It's a cafe, but with puppies! You get to eat with puppies by your side! I mean, who doesn't like puppies?" Exclaimed Sienna, who was very eager to go. "Whoa, calm down, Sienna. We've got a lot of homework to do, right? Let's save the date for a Friday. This Friday, okay?" I calmly replied and Sienna nodded happily. "Aye, captain!" I chuckled at her response.
Sienna, the first friend I made in this school, is a happy person. By happy, I mean ALWAYS happy. Wherever she goes, she has a smile plastered on her face. But, y'know, there can be times where she frowns and grunts and makes 'ughs' all the time. But from time to time, she lightly slaps her face, and puts on her best smile yet.
We were currently at our lockers, getting our books for the last period, which was math. "Ughh, why do we even have to learn math. It's boring and it's so haaard." Sienna whined as she closed her locker and rested her head on it. "Oh come on, it's going to be our last year in high school. Just a little more and you'll be free!" I cheered her on. "You say that like it's easy for you." But she then stood up straight. "But that's what lazy people say! I'm not lazy, so I'll finish this year with a bang!" I chuckled and closed my locker. "That's the spirit! Now let's go to our room before the bell rings. We don't want to be late, don't we?"

Classes are done, so Sienna and I went to our lockers one last time to return and get some stuff.
"Any plans this evening?" Sienna asked me as I returned my calculus book. "Hm, maybe just buy some things at the convenience store, then I'll go home." I closed my locker. "I see. I'll probably visit the cafe I was talking about. I'll see the menu, and I'll get us a reservation; that place is full all the time!"
"I see," I replied. "I hope you do get a reservation for us."
"I'll try my best!" She replied with a smile.
We then walked to the gate of the school, bid our goodbyes, and left. I immediately rushed to the convenience store, grabbing all the food I can get. After I paid, I walked up to the park in front of it, and sat down and relaxed.
It wasn't easy putting up this facade. It wasn't obvious today, but I have this facade. I am one of the popular girls in my school. They say I'm rich, kind, and a trendy person as well. The first one is the only truth in the sentence. My father owns and manages one of the biggest oil companies in the world. While my mom is a famous fashion designer known for her unique dresses. Typical rich parents, I know. But, to be honest, I'm an introvert. I always want to be alone. I'd rather sit in my room for a year rather than to go to school and make friends. Making friends wasn't my decision in the first place. My mom made my clothes to start with, that's why they call me trendy. And my mom encouraged me so much to make friends. So I obeyed. And I'm so tired of it, I just want to escape. I don't want to leave Sienna, because she's my closest friend. And, I don't want to lie to everybody, because they have high hopes for me somehow. They admire how I dress, how I act. But, once in a while I just want to be free, in public. I want to show off what I really am by heart. But at the same time I don't want to let everybody down because of what I really am. It's stressful, yes.
After relaxing on this bench, I decided to go home. Walking alone is pretty nice, eh?
