The Walk to The Park

Well today was my first day of this new high school and it's quite nice! I met a girl that has my same name and same situation! Her name is Nialler! cool right? it's a weird name for a girl but it's nice, I won't judge! and guess what! she's blind too!! Me and her are going to the park. To tell you the truth even if I can't see, she's very beautiful, earlier I touched her cheek and automatically knew what she looked like!




She had blue eyes under her jet black glasses, when I touched her hair, it wasn't long.. nor medium... it was exactly like mine! It was bleached and I could tell because of the texture, my hair had the same exact feeling to it.




I noticed that this conversation was dying down and she might leave, so I asked her if she wanted to go the park.




"Hey, do you wanna come with me to the park after school so we can you know talk and stuff"




I wasn't asking her out on a date! I just wanted to hang out with her and get to know her you know? She's my first friend that's a girl! And I've always wanted a friend that's a girl. A tomboy like girl.. And by the way her voice goes I can tell she was one of them.




For some strange reason I was on the edge of my seat waiting for her to reply because I was pleading she would say yes..My heart was pounding

And my breath accelerated. Why did I feel like this? I don't know of I have feelings for her or not.. I'm trying to convince myself that I don't because I just met her.. I was still on edge waiting for her to answer.




"Sure!"




YEAAAAAAHHHH BUDDDDYYY!!!! My stomach felt completely empty like no organs were inside me.




"Okay.. Just meet me in the courtyard after homeroom."




"Okay!"




The lunch period was quite boring but I had Nialler by my side...When the bell rang I quickly went to grab my walking stick. But I guess I got up toooo soon and fell on my face because my legs were tangled in the chair. Nialler giggled and helped me up..




"Becareful!"




This girl may be blind but her senses are insane!! like just with one touch she knows how you look from head to toe..




"Thank you.. well head on to Homeroom and meet me in the courtyard as soon as you leave okay"




"Alright I promise! I'll see you there Ni!"




Ni? Ni!? nobody has EVER given me a name like that before... and I love it! I couldn't give her a nickname since she basically had my name.




I grabbed my walking stick and tried to find the class.. it took 5 whole mintues but I found it. I could tell everyone went home because of the silence..




"Oh hello Niall! I got you the textbook with the Braille pads so you can do the homework!"
