An Old Friend

I didn't know my way around here at all but I managed to find my way to my best mate Liam's house! His house wasn't far so I grabbed my walking stick and went on over. I haven't seen Liam in almost 2 months! Because of summer vacation. He helps me out with everything! He's a brother to me! He has a girlfriend named Danielle Peazer she's like my sister too! When I got up to his doorstep I knocked on the door and waited for him to answer.


The door opened to what sounded like a very enthusiastic Liam!


"Niall!!! Long time no see!!" Liam hugged me tightly and I quickly hugged him back


"Come in!!"


Liam stepped aside and I went in.


"Hey Liam! I missed yah!"


"Missed yah too! what brung you here?"


Liam helped me to the couch and we both sat down.


"Well I met this girl named Nialler.. And I didn't know my way from the park to home so I came here."


"Ohh! And She has your same name!"


"I know right! I gave her a nickname that we both agreed on and it's Zoella! She's blind like me and I just kinda bonded with her yah know?"


"Oh okay and what happened?"


"Well.. we were at this park talking having a good time and just hanging out, but she had to go get this surgery to probably get her vision back but she just left me.."


"Aww poor NiNi. Well don't rush her though...She needs this mate."


"No no no no! that's exactly why I feel bad! Because I just met her and I want to give her a good impression of who I am.''


"Oh! well just be nice! you know? just play it cool and just say nice things! But don't make it seem like your rushing her"


"Oh okay....Hey Liam can I confess something?"


"Sure go ahead!"


"I may be blind but... I really like her.. even though I just met her."


"That's great Niall! And by the way, so what if your blind you can like whoever you want whenever you want!"


"True.."


"Look Mate... it's okay to be blind and like someone! It doesn't matter! Your feelings are what matter. And when your blind it's hard to love but you'll know when it gets easier I promise."


"I know.. thank you LiLi you helped alot!''


"No problem lad!"


Liam had sooo much great advice he just gave me! Like he totally understood everything!


"Hey Liam got any food?"


"Still the same old Niall I see! haha yeah c'mon lets go blindy!"


"Hahah blindy? that's new!"


I got up and grabbed Liam's arm. Liam led me to the kitchen I had no idea where anything was or what anything looked like anymore.. I wish I could get surgery like Zoella...


"Hey NiNi since your blind imma give you a little quiz okay?"


"Okay sure LiLi!"


Liam grabbed both of my hips and sat me on the counter like I was a 7 year old.


"Okay! what kind of food do you wanna try first?"


"Junk food!!"


"Of course"


I heard rustling from Liam and tried to figure out what it was..


"Okay Niall open your mouth!"


I opened my mouth wide enough for Liam to put some food in.Liam slid something in my mouth and It started to hurt because this thing was freezing!! It tasted like vanilla and it was absolutely freezing!!


"Vanulla ihe creed" I couldn't pronounce my words because of my numb and freezing cold mouth.


"Correct!''


By the sounds of it Liam probably put the ice cream away and got something else.


"Okay open up again!"


I opened my mouth and waited again.. Liam put something warm and creamy in my mouth.


"Well what do you think it is?"


"Hmmm.." I smacked my lips and licked them...


"Is it.. Chocolate frosting?"


"Yup!! Damn you know your food!"


"I'm a pro!"


"Okay okay 2 more then that's it!"


"Alright!"


Liam tilted my head back and told me to open up again.. He told me it was a liquid so I don't choke. I waited a few seconds and then I felt a cold thick substance go into my mouth..


It tasted like chocolate! When Liam was done it lifted my head back up and swallowed all the syrup like liquid.


"Oooo!!! I know!!"


"Okay then. What is it?"


"Chocolate syrup!"


"Okay BUT from what brand?"


"Hershey's!"


"Good! Little Leprechaun!"


I laughed and Liam put the syrup away.


"Alright NiNi this is the last one!"


Liam took out something that smelled extremely fimiliar.


"Okaaaay Little Leprechaun. ready for this one??"


"Give it to me!''


Liam put something in my mouth and told me to hold it myself and eat it... it was a bit spicy and really saucy! it was Peri Peri Chicken!! NANDOS!!!!


"Well what is it?''


I smacked my lips and licked the sauce off my hands and lips.


"Nando's!!!!"


"Good boy!! Your a real eater if you know what everything I gave you is!"


"Haha yup!"


I jumped off the counter and begged Liam to give me a piggyback ride.. even though I'm 16 I love those!


"Pleeeeeeeeeease Leeyum!!"


"No Niall!"


"Yes Liam!"


"No Niall!!"


"Yes Liam!!"


"No Niall!!!"


"Please Liam!!!!!


"Ugh! fiiiiiine!"


Liam walked towards me and bent down. I climbed on his back and then he adjusted me. He walked around the whole house 3 times. then when he was tired he put me down.


"Damn it's late! hey wanna sleep over?"


"Hell yeah!! but uh.. can you call my mum.. she knows you and she's like worried about me"


''Sure!!"


Liam was the most best friend I ever had!!

I took my iPhone out and dialed Niall's mums number. I put the phone to my ear and waited for her to answer.

Maura: Hello?


Me: Hey Maura! remember me?


Maura: No...is this Liam!?


Me: yup!


Maura: oh my goodness it's been so long how are you!?


Me: I'm great! And not THAT long haha oh I have Niall here if your wondering where he is!


Maura: okay that's great I was worried sick! oh Liam make sure he does his homework please!


Me: no problem! hey can he stay over? for the night?


Maura: of course! just becareful okay?


Me: okay! bye!


Maura: Bye sweetie!

Well that went smoothly!


"Niall! she said you can stay as long as you do your homework!"


"Alright and will you help me? I can see with the Braille pads but I can't write"


"Of course mate!"


Niall took out his homework and handed me a pencil that was upside down I can tell this night was gonna be hilarious I can tell!
