"your hand touching mine, this is how galaxies collide."

― Sanober Khan

Summer was long gone. Instead of those hot nights and heated bleachers there were chunks of snow instead.

We were the best of friends.Amore and me, Amore and I, Amore and myself. We were all that mattered. The outside world seemed to blur. Like those wonderful romantic movies I had hope that someday Amore would be sharing her love for me. We would grow old together and have children running around our house. Till the day our hands get wrinkled and soiled. We would be together forever.

Alas dreams never come true.

"Amore! Sit besides me." The cold winter night was almost too harsh to handle and I was a little scared for Amore. She was a petite girl who always seemed to catch herself a fever.

"James! I'm absolutely fine!! Come catch me," Her giggles were the only music of found that soothed me. She was laughing loudly as she tried to run away from me.

My thoughts were long forgotten as soon as I saw that same smile that managed to trap my fragile heart. The same smile that made me fall in love with a girl who couldn't possibly love me.

"Amore you better run while you can."

It was an evening that I would never forget. The time that I would cherish till the day I got old. We were in own little world. Her making a miniature snowman and castles of icy hope and me a lanky boy named James admiring his Amore from afar.
