Next day I met everyone on the team. I was in all fangirl mode, I know veekay will never stop teasing me for going all fangirl on his friends but I couldn't help it.
They were freaking Indian cricket team and they were just so cool. I clicked pictures with all of them and I met their wives as well.
Then the match started I was nervous as hell, I really wanted Indian team to win ,I mean that's what every Indian fan wants but I wanted it for veekay. He really needed this win.
And guess what India won and veekay got a century he scored 119* and the hopes for India to win this series were still there.

We went back to the hotel, I gave veekay sometime with his team, I knew he would want to celebrate with his team because it was a much needed win.

I was in my room when there was a knock on the door,I opened it and there stood veekay

"Heyy" i said

He didn't say anything just hugged me and said " I am so happy today"

I smiled breaking the hug and looked in his eyes, there was this spark in his eyes that was missing yesterday.

"I can see that " I replied.

I let him in.

"Why did you come back to the room?" He said.

"I thought you would want to spend some time with the team. That's why" I replied playing with the hem of my shirt.

"What are you crazy, there won't be anyone else right now i would want to share this victory than you. You know its because of you i was able to perform because of your little pep talk yesterday" he said coming towards me.

"Heyy its you hardwork and commitment,I did nothing, it was all you. I just reminded you that you are 'the virat kohli', I am so proud of you veekay" I replied holding his hand.

We both looked in to each other's eyes, nobody said anything for sometime.

Then he said "so are you planning on fulfilling your commitment to me "

"Hmm... what commitment?" I replied scratching my head.

"Ms. Bulakad, remember the promise of buying me a beer, you made to me yesterday" he said

"Ohh yeah that one" I said with a sense of understanding

"Yeah that one, so where are you taking me" he said

"Actually I was thinking that you suggest someplace because I have never been to Sydney and I don't know any nice place here." I replied

"Hmm in that case we can go sightseeing first and then there is a pool party at one of my friends house, I wasn't planning on going but that was then, now we both can go there and have fun what do you say ? " He said.

"Sounds like we have a plan" I replied excitedly.

" okay so I am gonna go get changed and you also get ready ,I will meet you in half an hour" he said.

Veekay and me went out, he took me to all his favourite places in Sydney. We acted like two crazy people, veekay hid his face most of the time with his hoodey because he was quite famous here, but then that didn't stop us from enjoying our hearts out.

I don't know when was the last time I had so much fun. It felt so unreal, like a dream that would end as soon as I woke up , I pinched my self a few times just to make myself realise that all of this is true.
