Chapter 1 - My Gift.

Cara's POV

"Babe? Could you come here for a second!" I yelled, hiding the tickets behind my back. "I'm coming!" Kendall yelled back in return, rushing quickly to me.

"What is it?" She asked. "Well.. I've been planning something for a while.." I said innocently, as Kendall stopped in front of me.

"Cara.." Kendall said as she started to smile, getting excited and waiting for my answer to satisfy her.

"You see.. you and I aren't very busy, we have a three week break from our work and stuff.. soo, I'm taking you on vacation." I said happily with a smile.

"You're taking me on vacation?!" Kendall yelped excitedly, raising her arms. "Yup," I replied. Kendall screeched and picked me up, "Thank you so much Cara! I can't to go to!... where are we going?" she said stupidly, and cute. "We.. are going to... The Maldives!" I replied, bringing out the tickets.

"What!" she exclaimed, grabbing the ticket and looking at it with wide eyes. "Cara! that's awesome! That's one of the most beautiful places I know! I've always wanted to go there.. but I never had time." she murmured a bit at the end, sounding a bit down, "Well, today's your lucky day!"

"What resort are we going to?" she questioned. "We are going to Soneva Fushi."

"Woah what! Cara! that's so expensive? I can't believe you're paying for me, I'm paying you back right now." Kendall stated, looking for her purse.

"Hey! Kendall, its your treat, you deserve it. It's all on me love, trust me." "But Cara-" "Kendall, you deserve it. After everything you've done for me, its the least I can do." I cut her off. "Fine, but I'll find a way to give it all back."

"You don't have to give me anything. You are all that I need." I said, emphasizing the 'you.' "Thank you, Cara. I really appreciate you doing this for me." Kendall replied, hugging me. "I love you, Cara," "I love you too, my love." I pecked her head.

"Well, let's get packing, the plane leaves in 1 hour and 30 minutes!" "1 hour and 30 minutes? Cara! Why didn't you tell me earlier!" she said as I laughed. "Kidding! I know you need like hours to pack, so I did it for you." I grinned, smirking.

"No you didn't.." she said, hiding the excitement. "Oh yes I did." I replied, very sassy. "Well, we need to get going. And I mean right now. My driver awaits us." I said as I bowed my head down, trying to sound all royal and shit. "You need to work on that." "I know."

"How long does it take to get there?" Kendall asked as she sat down in her seat. "The flight is about 10 hours long." "Really?" "No." I don't even know. "Well once we arrive at the airport of Malé we still need to take a water plane to get to the island." "I've never been in one."

"I have, it makes a lot of sound. It hurts my ears so that's why ill be listening to music while you ask me stuff and not receive any answers." she was silent and gave a 'omg' look. I burst out laughing. She then too, eventually, joined in on the laughter.

The plane took off and I started making a video diary on my little camera. "It is now 12:50 in the afternoon and we'll be arriving at Malé Airport in I don't know." I turned my camera to Kendall, "Hey Ken," I waved. She smiled widely and waved back into the camera. "I'm stuck on this flight for God knows how long with this little demon." she pointed back at me.

I turned the camera onto my face, "She still loves me," I smiled and turned the camera back on Kendall. She just shook her head and face palmed herself. I brought the camera up and viewed the entire inside of the plane. "There's literally no one here." I whispered onto the lens, fogging it a bit, "Ew." I said and wiped it off to clear it again.
