I lay awake at night
Thinking of you
Of what we had
Of what we were
I knew you were trouble
But I couldn't resist
Your eyes were bright and beautiful
Like a grassy meadow
Your hair was a golden blonde and you always flipped it to the side
I miss it
I miss you
I miss how you used to say you loved me
I know I hurt you
I'm sorry
I can't forget you
But I can't stand you
I don't miss how you made me feel like shit
I don't miss how you were always jealous
I don't miss you trying to control me
I miss how things were before the fights
I miss you
But I can never go back to you
I'm sorry
