[OLIVIAS POV]

To be honest, I'm glad that I'm leaving England. I hate the constant cold, rain and the horrific school uniforms. However, I am going to miss my best friend Mackenzie who I've known since we were about 3 years old. But I do want to start fresh, new country, new school, new friends.

I am moving to the south of Florida as my dad got a job promotion there, it is also where my grandparents live who I haven't seen since I was about 11 years old, I am 16 now just to mention. My name is Olivia Woodley, but everyone calls me 'Liv' for short. I spend most of my time on the internet, watching thousands upon thousands of YouTube videos every day, but I love to hang out with my friends a lot of time which we get into a lot of mischief, the rebel types, you may say.

"Liv, time to pack your things, we are going next week, so you have to start sometime soon!" My mum shouts to me from the kitchen, downstairs. "Don't forget to say your goodbyes to your friends as well!" She adds.

"I know mum!" I reply to her.

I get the boxes that were in the hallway with 'LIV' written huge in black pen on them. My brother Conor hasn't yet packed as he constantly plays 'Uncharted 4' non-stop. I drag the boxes into my room and begin neatly putting everything into it starting with the things on my unorganised desk. I throw away the pointless things that I'm never going to use again, such as my clothes from about 3 years ago and the tatty old teddy bears that I have never even seen before.

After a few hours of packing my crowded and untidy room, my mum calls us down for our dinner meal, which she invited Mac to join us, as she only lives opposite to us and it will be our last meal together.

"We are going to miss you Mackenzie, but we will Facetime you every day when we can!" I said with a small tear strolling down my face.

"I'm going to miss you too; I don't want you to leave" Replied Mackenzie, with her eyes turning bright red which I could tell she was going to burst out in rivers of tears.

Conor interrupts "Ugh, I'm going back upstairs I'm not watching this dramatic moment."

The week quickly goes by after packing for hours and hours, and it is finally time to leave. I finish packing my last box and then decide to get into my outfit for the plane After rummaging around the packed box of clothes finding something decent, but comfortable to wear for the journey, I decide to go with a white crop top with dark blue high-waisted jeans and Adidas shoes. I do my makeup and wear my dark purple lipstick. I go downstairs and find that Mackenzie is giving her final goodbyes to us all.

She walked over to me.

"Don't forget to Facetime me each night... and send me pictures!!" Mackenzie demanded.

"I will not forget you, and of course I will send you pics Kenz, Florida is beautiful, of what I have seen by the pictures on Google... Make sure you arrange to visit us sometimes in the summer holidays!" I suggested.

"Of course! I have always wanted to go Florida... I wish I could come with you but it's too late now." Mac Sobs giving me a hug, "Show me pictures of all of the cute boys you see at your new school!"

"Don't worry I will do!" We giggle.

My parents and Conor say their goodbyes to Mackenzie as I find my carry-on suitcase and get prepared for the journey to the airport. Mac follows and we take our last picture together (for now) sharing it onto my Snapchat story where hundreds of my friends and some who I don't know, then reply how they will miss me and they wish me all the best for my new school and what it seems, new life.

"I'm going to miss you so much Liv" Mackenzie says.

"I'm going to miss you more Kenz" I reply.

After our emotional goodbyes, we load the car with our carry-ons for the plane, whereas dad loads his van with our belongings to travel by boat.
