"It seems Ryuu manage to get Ayato,"Hitoshi rolled the scroll and burn it instantly by the time he finish reading it,"Ayato would be staying with our cousins, Sakura-chan."
"In Konoha, right?"Sakura clarified.
He nods.
"Ryuu also says that Misaki-chan will arrive shortly in the next town, not far from here."he said.
"Misaki-chan huh? Still the bundle of joy?"Sakura grins as she nudges his side playfully.
Hitoshi groaned in irritation, one because of Sakura and two because of the mention of their other female pink haired cousin who has an uncanny resemblance to Sakura.
Not to mention that Haruno Misaki has a very, very, naive and emotional compassion to like anything that interests her but it's more of a joke and messing around so she isn't someone to be carelessly let go even if it's a joke.
Simply put to describe her.
Misaki is like a child.
She acts like a child that it come to the point where the other people becomes annoyed by her constant actions.
If anyone could piss Hitoshi more than once and gladly make it a thousandth time despite his powerful ability and power to even as much to kill thousands of men that fear him, it would be Misaki.
This also led Hitoshi and the other relatives of theirs to both find it amazing and annoying as well that Misaki seems to not know fear or whatsoever as she could not even fear Hitoshi or any other.
"She's one of the reasons why I chose to get out from the clan,"Hitoshi looks at her blankly in to which Sakura stares back at him with a look of disbelief,"I'm serious."
"No way, Misaki can't be that bad,"she says, remembering the days where they spent time together,"sure Misaki can get overboard sometimes but she couldn't be that bad...is she?"she looks expectedly at him.
The only response she got was a blank gloomy stare at the road from him and immediately Sakura turned her head away from him, understanding what he means by that one single look.
"Stay determined."was all Sakura said as she pat his shoulders.
"Screw you..."
...
Meanwhile in the forests of Konoha, Ayato and his older cousin Ryuu walked side by side with anko dumplings in their hand, eating happily as they chatted together.
Despite the not so well relationship between Ryuu and Hitoshi, Ayato is an easy going boy unlike his sadistic, annoying older brother of his who is such a great troublemaker.
"So Sakura's taken you as her apprentice huh? That's cool! I bet many kids like you would really be jealous of you!"Ryuu muffled his hair with proud eyes.
Ayato laughed before thinking of his cousin and also his best friend.
"Do you think Ryuu is gonna be jealous at me, now that I'm under Sakura-sama's tutelage?"he looks up at him with worried face.
"Nah, my little brother may look up to Sakura too much but he wouldn't stoop so low as to get jealous just because his best cousin in the world gets to be an apprentice of her,"he reassures him with a warm smile,"Ryuu would be so proud of you and besides, he also understands your current situation as well."Ryuji said.
Ayato smiles sadly.
"Well, father did say that I'm a late bloomer and in my age I should be able to access the second stage...almost all of my age group in the clan did it and some even is showing signs of awakening their gifts. Ryuu already has it yet I only have the first stage."Ayato munched the dumplings, his eyes staring at it.
