The shadow figure dropped to the ground as the light finished returning the memory to the shadow figure.

Grabbing the chipped saber, the shadow figure rushed to the Palace. Heavy rain started pouring down again this time, accompanied by strong gust of winds and lighting flashes. The thunder cracked and roared in the skies.

Thump, thump, thump the shadow figure ran as fast as it could. Its garments on its body fully soaked.

The city wall was within sight. The shadow figure climbed the city wall once again, but this time, to get into the city.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!” one female peasant who saw the shadow figure screamed out loud.

Other peasants started coming out to see what was happening outside.

The shadow figure quickly dashed away.

“WHAT’S WRONG LOVE!?” her husband asked as he came out of their hut house.

“I. . .I saw something climbed down from the city walls over there!” she cried.

Her husband grabbed the hoe in his hand and put on a straw raincoat. His neighbor did the same.

They squinted at the shadow near the wall behind clean water storage tanks. As they got closer, they became more nervous. Raising their hoes in the air, ready to attack, they leap towards the shadow

“WHO’S THERE!?” they yelled but the shadow figure had already left. They breathed a sigh of relief and laughed at each other.

“Honey, it must have been a cat or rat. Let’s head back inside, it’s cold out here!” the husband told his wife.

At the palace, Wylie is having dinner with Lorraine, king Brunswick and the priest of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, the country’s biggest church local to Taldarin city.

“Father Joseph, would you be able to give Lorraine and I your blessing at the church in the near future?" Wylie asked father Joseph, the priest.

“Of course Wylie!” father Joseph says. “I would be happy to!” he added.

“Has there been a date set for the wedding?” father Joseph eager to know

“No, not yet.” King Brunswick answered the priest. “However, it should not be too far away. I wouldn’t want the impatient princess to bear the agonizing pain of waiting any longer.”

Father Joseph laughs with the king. King Brunswick coughed a few times.

Lorraine smiled. “If you’ll excuse me” she pardons herself to go to the toilet.

When she was about to return to the dining hall, she walked past a window. From the corner of her eyes, she got a glimpse of two glowing blue eyes passing by and heading for the double door.

Petrified, she froze on the spot she was standing at. A cold chill ran up her spine once again. She listened to the guards outside. The noise got closer and closer.

“HEY YOU. . .STOP!” a guard outside yelled out in fear.

Multiple sounds of swords being drawn from their sheath chirped.

“LET KING BRUNSWICK KNOW OF THIS FOUL CREATURE RIGHT AWAY! IT MUST BE SENT HERE BY THE REBEL GROUP TO ASSASINATE THE KING!” one soldier instructed the other one.

The door burst open. Winds came rushing in through the doorway.

“PRINCESS!” the guard called out. “It’s dangerous outside, please get back!”
