Kuro skipped down the path with Mina while Anzu followed behind. It had been two days and they still haven't found Sesshomaru. Just then Kuro and Mina stopped and ran back to Anzu quickly and hid behind her. Anzu looked ahead and seen a group of male phoenix demons walking towards them. Anzu stopped and glares daggers at them. They only smirked. "Well well well. What do we have here." The first one said.
The other two phoenix demons ran and grabbed Kuro and Mina. Anzu reacted quickly and pulled out a dagger and throwing it at one of the two pinning the one holding Mina against a tree. She took Mina and told her to go hide before charging at the demon holding Kuro. Before she could get to him she was knocked into a tree by the first phoenix demon. The white part of her eyes turned red and she charged at him taking out a katana and slicing him in half.
Kuro had her eyes shut tightly scared about what would happen to her. Just then she felt herself hit the ground and looked up to see Sesshomaru. She quickly ran to him and hugged him. When she heard rustling from the bushes she hid behind him. Sesshomaru got ready to attack when Anzu and Mina walked out from behind the bush. Anzu's eyes had turned back to normal and she rolled her eyes at Sesshomaru. "You aren't very smart ya know that. What demon would continue to leave his little sister alone. You better be lucky I care." Anzu stated. "I don't lose her. She wanders too far away from me. I will make sure it won't happen again." He said.
"You said that the last time. And the time before. And the time before!" Anzu yelled. As the two continued to talk Kuro introduced Mina to Rin and the three started to play together. Of course Jaken would try and lecture Kuro for running away but she'd just take his staff and hit him on the head with it.
