Kiro’s P.O.V.

I startled awake to see Jessica standing there in my room again. “What now?” I growled while I pulled the blankets over my head. “You should dress up,” she smiled. “I have a surprise for you.”

“What? Can I finally go out of this fucki- I mean, this mental hospital?” She shook her head. “But I’m sure you’ll like it.” I sighed. “Fine, I’ll be ready in 10 minutes.”

I got out of my bed as soon as she left the room and looked out of the little window in my room. “I wonder what that bitch wants.” I growled. I walked towards the bathroom. ‘Whatever she wants, escape if you get the chance too.’ The voices in my head told me and I nodded. Then I started getting ready.

When I was ready I walked towards the door, waiting for Jessica to get back. I was slightly annoyed by how I looked, ‘cause I didn’t had any make up here.

Soon, Jessica walked into my room and she smiled at me. “Now, the surprise, because of your good behaviour,” I grinned as she said that, good behaviour, seemed like my plan was working. That meant she wasn’t right, the voices were right. “Kiro, are you listening?” I looked up and nodded. “Well, good, then let’s go.” I mumbled something that looked like okay and walked after her, wondering where we were going, since I hadn’t listened to her at all. She walked into a big room, and I looked around. In the middle of the room was a couch, with a tv, also, there were a few computers, and I noticed a playstation. There were about 10 other people in the room. Some seemed to know each other already, a few were sitting alone. Almost straightaway, I noticed a boy sitting in the corner. He had long hair, ‘till his shoulders and it was dyed brown with blonde. He was sitting there, alone, seeming to draw or write something. I noticed him looking around the room all the time, as if being afraid for something. “Well, what are you waiting for? Go make some friends.” Jessica smiled at me, then turned around and left the room.

Strify’s P.O.V.

I wrote down all the thoughts that were in my head, as Daniel had told me to do. I thought it would be a bit boring to just write down all the thoughts though, so I wrote them in poem version. I startled as someone sat down next to me and jumped. I looked next to me and saw a boy, about my age, a little bit smaller then me. His hair was dyed black with blonde and it was about as long as mine. “Sorry, did I scare you?” He asked. I shook my head and continiued writing. “I’m Kiro.”

“I’m Strify.” I mumbled. He was silence for a moment.

“What are you writing?” He then asked, and tried to look. I hide what I was writing, stood up, and walked away, to the other side of the room, where I continiued writing.

But before I even wrote down one other word the other boy, called Kiro, was sitting next to me again. “Go away.” I mumbled. “No.” I looked up, looking the boy straight into his eyes. They were beautiful. I felt myself blush, and quickly looked away. The boy giggled. I ignored it and started writing again, hiding what I was writing with me hand. “So, I’m guessing you are new here?” He then said. I ignored it, trying to concentrate on the poem. He poked my shoulder. “Hello, can you hear me?” I growled. “Please, just go away.”

“No.”

“Why not? Why won’t you just leave me alone?”

“Because I’m seeing you’re alone.”

“Why do you care?”

“Because … I don’t know … I thought you were new here when I saw you sitting here alone. And I’m new here aswell.” I looked up, not saying a word. “Strify,” I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up. It was Daniel. “It’s time to go back to your room.” I nodded, quickly got up and walked after Daniel. Away from the other boy.
