Kiro’s P.O.V.
I stared at the white walls, thinking of how this could have happened. Why was I here? Why did they take me away from my parents?
“Kiro, no, I’m not your stalker! Kiro stop!” I still heard my mother’s voice screaming in my head. That stalker had got me crazy, he made me want to kill my own mother.
Blood was everywhere as I looked at my mom. Then I looked at the knife in my hand, and soon I realized what I had done. Why, why did I do this? I heard the voices in my head, they were still talking to me. ‘Now, you don’t have to be afraid again. Your stalker is gone.’
“K-Kiro.” I looked down again, to see that my mother was still alive. ‘Kill her.’ I heard the voices in my head. ‘Kill her, so she won’t be able to hurt you again.’ I walked towards her, wanting to push the knife deep into her skin again.
I startled out of my thoughts, as the door of the room opened. I looked up, to see a woman standing in the doorway. “Hello there.” She said and slowly walked towards me. “Fuck off.” I growled as she came closer. “I’m Jessica, I’m here to help you.”
“Help me? By putting me in this room?”
“Listen Kiro, we just don’t want you t-”
“Don’t want me to do what,” I interupted her. “Killing you? Well, don’t worry, I won’t. The only reason that my mother deserved to die was because she was my fucking stalker!”
“Kiro, your mother was not your stalker.” Jessica said as she sat down on the edge of the bed that was in the middle of the little white room. “She was! You don’t fucking understand it! She did it for attention! She didn’t had any friends. Not in our old neighbourwood, and not here! She did it so people would feel sorry for me that I got stalked, and so they would feel sorry for her too!”
“Kiro, that’s not true, that’s what the voices in your head tell you.”
“And they are right!” I said, and turned my back to Jessica. She sighed. “Well, now about what I’m here for. I’m here to give you some medicines. You have 2 options, or you just take them, or I make you take them.” She said. I turned half around to look at her. “What kind of medicines? I’m not sick.”
“They’re to take away the voices in your head, the voices that tell you things which are not true.”
“No way, those voices help me!”
“Those voices made you wanting to kill your own mother.”
“She was my fucking stalker! She made me paronoid just to get attention!”
“She wasn’t your stalker Kiro. Just please, take these medicines?” She showed me the medicines. Suddenly, an idea popped into my head and I took the medicines. “Fine, I’ll take them. If that makes you happy.” I said, and put them into my mouth. Jessica gave me a glass water, and I made it look like I swallowed the medicines, while actually, I held them under my tongue. “Good, well, I’ll be back later today.” Jessica said and then took the glass of water. I nodded as she left the room. As soon as she left, I spit the medicines out. ‘She wants to keep us away from you, are you going to let that happen?’ I suddenly heard the voices in my head telling me. “No, I won’t let that happen. I won’t take those medicines.”
‘Good, if you be a good boy they’ll let you out earlier, so just do what they tell you, alright?’
“I will.” I told the voices in my head. I then lied down on my bed, and drifted off to sleep.
